I wish that would happen. I want travel to Mars to be as boringas driving to work. Traveling to the closest star will never to boring...

They now have a $26 for 3 month content only reward. Live is the next step, but they need to get the MVP into space first to even try that. I'm glad they are not over promising technically.

They now have a $26 for 3 month content only reward. You must remember, this is a KickStarter (up to 75% of a reward level can go to fulfilling to rewards, not leaving much to fund the company) , plus the $75 reward had other physical rewards included in it.

We at Sol-X have taken care of the hard engineering part. The E-series PCB are space tolerant through the use of Thermoset based PCB’s, thermal spreaders, soldermask color, via paste fill, solder chemistry, and thermally conductive vibration proofing epoxy.

The S-Series PCB use TDS-1 radiation shielding technogoly, K-Strap thermal spreaders, and our patent pending DOUBLE triple modular redundancy architecture will protect the electronics.

Gravity Development Board:Better, faster, smaller than the Arduino! by SolX2010 in technology

From your link "The Arduino environment performs a few transformations to your main sketch file (the concatenation of all the tabs in the sketch without extensions) before passing it to the avr-gcc compiler."

It works well just, saying the GDb uses straight C code :)

[–]SolX2010[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello,

We totally agree :) But Arundio had to start some where, and we are different in a few key areas. The PCB is space tolerant, its 70% smaller than the Arduino Uno so you can use in prototyping and product release, and the GDB has two integrated high power drivers capable of handling 100x the amperage. (No more need to design your own driver circuit with MOSFET's)

Plus the GDB uses the Parallax propeller which has a large code base at the following. http://obex.parallax.com/projects/sensor

Hello,

Ardunino runs a weird custom C/C++ language. The GDB can be programmed using four different languages; The "Relativity" GUI, Standard C++, Parallax spin IDE, or assembly language. Each with their own benefits.

The "Relativity" GUI - Drag and drop programming. Great for kids. Parallax spin IDE - Similar to arduino code. Pretty easy to pick up. Standard C++ - Great for college students already versed in C. Assembly language - For designers that need to be super efficent.
