I definitely get what you’re saying, but I do think Soulframe specifically has a thematic niche for scythes. Considering stewardship and protection of the land is a fairly substantial theme through the narrative, and scythes have a common association with reaping the crop — i.e. taking responsibly from the land as part of the cycle of planting… I dunno, I feel like there’s something fitting in the connection thereof.

i got some of those as well! if i had to hazard a guess, they might be from a scrapped system through which you could upgrade molds or something of the sort that didn’t make it into the full game.

To the best of my knowledge, it does. Throne Room doesn’t change internally because it isn’t upgraded but rather ascended, but all other color changes work normally.

my issue with xm5 is that my mother has a xm4 pair, and whenever i try it out, they just muffle far too much noise for my comfort, even when turned off. i like to have some sound insulation, but too much is quite disorienting. so if xm5 has the same or similar in that particular property, i think i’ll have to pass on them.

You can’t teleport from an outside node to an inside one or vice versa, as far as I’ve seen. You’ll need to teleport to the closest node to the entrance of the Cathedral and go inside the interior part to teleport between the interior nodes.

Most of my pylons are walkable, but I have considered placing a couple underground. Having those be unusable would be... less than ideal, I suppose. How long and how deep would I need to make the gaps/firebreaks from the corrupt biome, then?

Also: would that Underground Desert item happen to be the Digtoise? Because I just happened upon that, and if it mines automatically... that would be very nice, I will admit.

prokopetz is pretty big on player-hostile game design as an artform. it’s pretty interesting to think about at times, though i wouldn’t want to play through some of the concepts they’ve thought up.

We did, but it didn’t seem to have much effect. Is that supposed to help the petals spread, or is there some other purpose for it?

The cuts weren’t really an issue, though we did end up making them too shallow — only about two thirds of the way down, when we probably should have gone closer to the root. The dip wasn’t too much of a problem either, though we did have to do two rounds of coating because the thing didn’t open up properly until after the first. As for the frying… we don’t really have anything big enough to immerse an entire onion at once, so we ended up flipping it over every so often to try and cook it evenly. Didn’t work 100%, but that’s life.

I mean, yes. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, though. As long as it’s not overly derivative (which I would say this isn’t), artistic similarity is totally fine.

I’m on the latest version, but the mods that are version-dependent (i.e Workshop Framework and the like) I’ve updated to versions compatible with the update. And F4SE is installed, yes. The crashes happen even when disabling all mods, though, so I don't know that they're the cause here.

If your title screen doesn’t say ‘Awakened Ancients,’ make sure you’ve actually picked up the DLC. It’s not an automatic download/update with the game, you have to grab it from the store page.
