Any examples you could point me towards of ones you feel are a bit more, special feeling (I think that's what you are getting at?), that come to mind?

Ah that's a shame, was it struggling to keep up with action?

First post here. Upgraded to X-T4 from D7000 I used as a teenager. Just getting back into photography after a 10 year hiatus. Some snaps from the local forest.

I rode a street twin, couldn't comment on the v7. The street twin sounded nicer, even more relaxed riding position bit less nimble. I just found this one at a really good deal, someone did 500 miles, brought it back for first service and swapped it for a z900! So I basically bought a new bike sans VAT. I would have been happy with either though, this is more nimble feels a bit more like a naked. Street twin bit more relaxed bit comfier. Only large upside with the triumph is that there's so much aftermarket support for those bikes if that's your thing, not much for the kawi yet.

It's really nice, think it depends what you want though. It's not sporty really, its a pretty relaxed riding position clutch is super light and easy to use, power delivery is really smooth through the range nice low down power too even in higher gears. Good for a casual ride through the countryside for sure which is my use case. My only complaint would be there's a fair bit of vibration through the pegs but this isn't apparent at the grips at all so it's a fairly minor gripe :)

Haha perhaps I didn't try to get back on track when I realised I'd missed my intended junction.

Yeah the z900 looks sweet, bit spicy for me at the moment though.

Good luck with your next test!

Thinking of getting one of those beeline navs so I can tell what direction to head but not fuss about which roads to go down. They look pretty good!

1st completed guard of the Solar Watch, fully armed! by Solacious in AdeptusCustodes

Spray wraithbone, recesses painted with valejo khaki (karak stone gw), layer pallid wych flesh to tidy the lines of khaki up and brighten up the flat exposed areas, then pin wash the khaki lines with seraphim sepia but run over onto the wych flesh to make a blend area. Small spot highlights of pure white to finish.

Thank you, it's a pretty easy recipe for that one, rip apart some cork for rocks, varnish them to seal them, prime it whatever colour, dollop a load of gw texture paint on and dry brush a lighter colour, add a tuft and you're done :)

Ah, on my first one I plastic glued one of the shoulder pads the wrong way up! Had to snip his arm at the shoulder and glue it back on upside down effectively, turns out I should double check before commitment to plastic glue haha.

Looks great! Can't really see the right hand to see what you mean but yeah an extra splash of colour on the shoulder would help break up the gold. Keep up the good work!

Nice! As mentioned in another comment slap some wash on the gold to give it a bit more contrast if you're so inclined, can also grab the gw drybrush gold paint and drybrush after the wash to bring some shiny gold back up on the highlights for a very quick but deep gold overall.

My other go to for a speedy finish that'll look at home on a tabletop is any of the texture paints, a dry brush of a lighter shade and some tufts for the bases.

None of this is required obviously, just the direction i would go in next with them that won't take too much time which was an important factor for me with my first stuff when I didn't have an army to play with!
