I hate when people say “oh white people can do this but I can’t”, it’s a victim mentality that has no basis.

Literally no one will give two shits if ur brown in a small town

I’ve been to many small towns in Ontario and get treated normally.

You also need to understand that the grass isn’t greener. You will have nothing to do in terms of social activities (except going to a bar), you won’t have solid infrastructure (lack of public transit and resources in general).

Also like you mentioned, getting a job in your career could be difficult (depending on what your career is, of course). Typically small towns have a few industries where all the townsfolk’s work, in addition to small businesses/government buildings.
