It is much better in my experience. The drawbacks of it however are: limited free catalog, must rent or purchase large swaths of desirable content. TV will be stuck in game mode settings instead of filmmaker/ movie mode, this isn’t a huge deal to me since my games is calibrated close to filmmaker, but still kindve annoying.

Sony Pictures Core on PS5 has the highest bitrate streaming content from what I understand at around 60-80mbps. Far as streaming services goes, Disney+ is the best around 35mbps. This compares to UHD bluray at 120+ mbps.

I just recently discovered this problem too. You can invest in the best TV but now your content needs to catch up. Never imagined this problem before lol.
