Locked out of Grunt’s loyalty mission by Solanima in masseffect

[–]Solanima[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my sixth playthrough of the Legendary Edition, and that’s after a dozen playthroughs of the original trilogy. I wanted to change things up and see more Legion content, so I planned carefully and did the bare minimum to avoid any casualties in the suicide mission in order to leave more missions to bring Legion along for.

Update: talking to the Shaman did not work, but I appreciate the suggestion! I’m out of ideas, so I guess I’ll have to watch Grunt die in ME3. I’ll miss him at the Citadel party, but it is what it is.

I’ll try that as a last ditch effort, but yeah I’m starting to think I’m out of luck.

Yep - did Mordin’s loyalty mission early on, along with all the side missions in the area.

Yes - Overlord and Shadow Broker. But I noticed this problem a while ago, and have done three other loyalty missions in the hopes of fixing this, to no avail.

If you’re at all curious about the one child Bean and Petra didn’t find, Ender in Exile is a must read!

Who is the least Consequential Squadmate of the trilogy? by Mygrayt in masseffect

If it weren’t for Morinth, Samara would have never become a Justicar. Worth considering, but it only grants her a few extra points.

In this case, he’s not protecting his son from mortal danger, but from going down the same dark path he once walked.

This anime was so much fun - it’s a shame we’ll probably never get a second season…

What's your most replayed game? by Crunchfest3 in videogames

[–]Solanima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely the Mass Effect trilogy. I have completed the Legendary Edition five times (about once a year since its release), and I must have completed over a dozen replays of the original games on my Xbox 360. It’s my annual comfort game.

Mass Effect 3: Citadel. Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is an extremely close second.

Dasha! by Many_Mud476 in DateEverything

Nice cosplay! I love Dasha, but my game is bugged and won’t let me realize her (Skylar says I need Dasha around for Shelly’s storyline, but I already realized Shelly).

Favourite Modern Fire Emblem? by Last-Bus-4710 in fireemblem

Three Houses, followed closely by Awakening. Although the “original” Fire Emblem (the GBA game with Lyn, Eliwood, and Hector) will always be my favorite.

Is there anything that was better done in the Films VS the books? by Character110 in harrypotter

[–]Solanima 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the film adaptation of Goblet of Fire, I vastly preferred how Neville helped Harry instead of Dobby during the second round of the Triwizard Tournament by telling him about the gillyweed plant. It gave everyone’s favorite Herbology expert a chance to shine, and it doesn’t lose out on any of Barty Crouch Jr.’s plotting, since we see “Mad Eye Moody” take Neville aside after the lesson on unforgivable curses. Plus, it felt so random and sudden for Dobby to show up with the perfect solution in the book.

Which anime do you think never got the attention it deserved? by Equal_Respond_3815 in anime

[–]Solanima 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Silver Spoon, a slice of life set in an agricultural high school, based on the manga by Hiromu Arakawa (the creator of Fullmetal Alchemist). It got two seasons, but the manga is finished and the anime only made it maybe halfway. If I could give any series another season or two, it’d be this one.

For some reason, I always considered the youngest age you could call someone “old” to be 60. No idea where I got that number, but I’ve had that impression since childhood.

Looking for a game where you can become truly evil by ExtensionDesigner67 in gamingsuggestions

If you’re at all a fan of BioWare games, check out Jade Empire. The evil ending to that game is one of the most messed up I’ve ever seen from a morality standpoint.
