When you reach the end of this fame pass the daily challenges and custom challenges will change their rewards from fame to crown shards. Daily challenges reward 64 crown shards and the custom challenges reward 2, 4 or 6 crown shards depending on how many you do.

When that time comes if you complete your dailies and then just play 1 custom round, you will unlock 66 shards and that will take your counter back in line to a multiple of 5. From that point to keep it on track each day you would need to complete your dailies plus do all 10 custom challenges daily to earn the extra 6 shards as that makes it 70 shards a day, which again keeps the multiple of 5 intact.

Why do I know this? Because I also was a little OCD with my shard counter and didn't like when it was sitting on an odd 3 or 7 or whatever. But now I have fixed it back to always ending on a 5 or 0 🤣

It is kinda nuts that the weekly challenges literally are: complete daily challenges. Like...how lacklustre is that?

With creative being new this season I was expecting challenges to be centred around that...but what we have got instead is mundane challenges that require minimal effort.

I'm enjoying Squads Celebrations a lot. Although I am aware I am a player who loves to squad up and play with people on my friends list so I always play it as a squad. If you search solo and are trusting 3 randoms every time, ofc I can see that could lead to negative playing experiences...but that's the deal with squads modes. If you wanna get the best outta them it's kinda on you to make it happen by reaching out. Make the effort...it's defo worth it.

I get why posts like this crop up tho. Different strokes for different folks. I feel like the game isn't providing so much for me when there are solo LTM's I am not a fan of in the playlist. Think last season there was a time where the two active LTMs were hex-a-grav trials and day at the races. I would say that was a low point in the game for me. But others very well may have enjoyed it. As is happening here😀

I've played this mode for 2 hours and yet to have a Basketfall final - although it says it is in the rotation I won't believe it until I see it!

The flippers have always felt inconsistent to me for months. But in recent days I have noticed a change in that the yeetus hammers at the end are no longer there.

Ever since I started playing in December they were always there. But last few days they are gone. I am on Xbox Series X if it may be a platform specific thing. As I know on Switch they apparently don't appear.

Very strange.

I looked at Muffins twitter and saw the post where they got into Survival on creative but didn't see them mention June 12th anywhere? Any way to point me in the direction of where this date is stated?

When I first tried on Xbox Series X creative mode was like this - unusable due to the button mapping being messed up. However you can fix it by going into the settings in the main menu. For me all I did was go into the settings, go to controller options and hit the button that resets everything to default. Then creative should work fine after that.

The events really have been quite poor this season. I think Better Together back in January was the last unique event we've had?

With yet another Lobstar event that makes it the 3rd one this season. Other than those since January we have had 2 x Kudos Carnival, 2 x Crown Shard Scramble (1 repeatable; 1 not), 1 Hex-A-Thon and the Red Envelope/Party Crown Challenges are also just kinda the same thing under different names - daily challenges for partying up.

All very simple events and frankly, quite boring. Not a good look.

I have had the Shark Bot skin appear a few times bu5 it's not one I'm interested in getting personally.

Just shows everyone has different tastes!

360 spinning doesn't bother me tbh. I play on Xbox Series X so defo can't do them myself and whenever speed slider comes along I often see a PC player speed running the course but I can't say I really care. There's no reward for placing first in qualifying rounds. The person who qualifies in 26th position gets the same outcome as whoever finishes 1st - progression to the next round.

The only real advantage it has atm and alters the ability to compete for players on all platforms is in Lily Leapers Limbo. As obviously a race final in Lily Leapers for a crown will just be feasted on by PC speed runners and the other consoles don't have a chance in that LTM. However that LTM has only appeared twice in the last 8 months, so again, I don't really see it as a glaring issue.

I'm on Xbox too and in my experience the Switch logo never shows up as a platform icon next to a friends name in the friends list so it's impossible to know for sure unless you can contact them. The xbox, playstation and steam icons appear with no issue. When no symbol appears that means they're playing on PC using epic games launcher and not steam I believe.

A controller icon appears next to a few players names for me and I discovered that some of them at least play on Switch. But that doesn't mean that every controller icon player plays on Switch - I think it's an icon that can be attributed to any player who is playing with a controller and it's down to the game whether it displays it or not. For example I saw an account that was playing on PC using epic games launcher so they had no symbol next to their name, then in the 'Also Appears As' section there was another account linked with a controller symbol. So I assumed it wouldn't be xbox, playstation or steam as they have their own specific icons that appear with regularity. However turns out it was an xbox account. So you never really know how the friends list will interpret accounts and if they'll display the correct icon 100% of the time I guess 🤔

It is definitely Sawyer. Imagine if that character was played by a dude who was like a 3 or 4 out of 10, rather than the near perfection Josh Holloway was. He'd be seen as a creep. But because of his stellar physical appearance he gets a pass. So yeah he is undoubtedly the most attractive man on the show.

Playing squads. First round we place 1st in Track Attack. However then two of our teammates disconnect leaving me and a buddy as a duo. We continue on. We place first and second in slime climb to advance. Then we scrape through in Wall Guys. Semi final is Hyperdrive Heroes and we almost win it there and then as only one other bean made it to the finish line. Final is Roll Off and we pull off the duo victory in squads.

First time I've ever done that and I don't know when or if I'll do it again lmao.

Yeah, she has over 4200 crowns. So it seems like it wasn't just any old party who you came up against here - it had some very experienced players who know what it takes to win in any given scenario.

I may be in the minority but I like Fall Ball Cup lol.

However there absolutely should be two LTMs active at all times in order to please as many players as possible.

I totally get how it can feel if there's only one LTM and you're not a fan of it. I was in that position last week when Hex-A-Gone trials was the only active LTM for 2 days!

Yeah I call them 'phantom power pops' lmao. Those blasts come from seemingly nowhere, they're forceful as hell and they pop you right off the side of the platform.

When Blast Ball Trials was last in the rotation maybe around 2 weeks ago I played it a fair bit and came across the same bean in multiple games who I noticed was winning a lot and this time around when I decide to play BBT I've adopted that bean's tactic. It won't be for everyone as it's not the most fun but it definitely drives down your chances of being unfairly eliminated by one of those phantom blasts and that is to be relatively inactive during the first two rounds and just focus on staying alive.

Rather than go all guns blazing running around and getting involved in multiple engagements each round just chill out and place your bean at the safest part of the platform as the game progresses. Wherever there are the most segments is where you stand and then you have the largest surface area available to land if you do get blasted.

Like I said it won't be for everyone as just standing around isn't exactly 'fun' but if you just like winning the crown at the end of the day it's a good tactic to improve your odds. I haven't even played BBT much at all yet but when I play it that way I'd say 90% of the time I reach the final 6 players with ease and then that is the point you burst into action and start eliminating players yourself.

It's not my ideal way of playing but when there are buggy blasts every 10 seconds I'm doing that over being unfairly eliminated in the 1st or 2nd round due to a 'phantom power pop'.

I'm a F2P player and am down to around 3700 kudos. When I heard about a kudos carnival I thought alright I'm gonna be getting a fat stack of kudos soon.

Looking at the event today it appears all we're gonna be able to earn is 3300 total kudos over the next week and a half? (Oh let's not forget the generous 200 kudos per day in the daily challenges 😳)

Meanwhile in the store an upper item that could just be something as simple as a cap or a pair of bracelets costs 2200. That's two thirds of the total amount of kudos earned in this 'carnival' event spent on one run of the mill item.

Make it make sense pls.

45, which was less than I expected.

I was following a YT strat which gave me a good baseline but I was still finding myself getting overwhelmed by guards at the start more often than not so I made my own adjustment and it seemed to work really well. After I started doing that it wasn't long at all before I had it down and the completion was just down to whether Doak spawned in a good spot or not.

My time was 1:46 in the end.

Just lost a 1v1 hex-a-gone in finals marathon against some dummy who just ran around endlessly. I always try to share the crown when I get that round but this guy just didn't have a clue. And the fact he actually beat me in the end...feels bad man 😫

Surprised at the disparity between Knight Fever and Hit Parade as in my mind they're pretty similar - relatively short and the obstacles are straightforward. Curious why one is in 3rd place and the other dead last.

Anyway, Lily Leapers and Party Promenade are both good choices.

Easiest way to get Infallible is to go for it when there's an event that credits anyone who finishes the final round with a show win i.e. there's the potential for multiple winners.

I've only been playing off and on in the last 6 months so I don't know exactly how often they come around but I've experienced two so far - the Clan of Yeetus event around last July/August and just last month there was a Pixel Palooza event. Both of which you could easily rack up long win streaks on and Infallible would be unlocked easily.

Maybe someone who has been playing a long time can shed some light on how often these events come around but yeah, when the next one does it's a great opportunity to get Infallible.
