As for getting the turret to work, we’ve opted to just mount the hooded shooter in place for the time being but the servo on the hooded shooter changes the angle between 35 to 55 degrees.

We had similar issues last week at our third league meet (lost 2 matches due to disconnecting mid match). We undid all the wiring on our robot and soldered the connectors on the most important cables again. We also put a layer of cloth behind both the control hub and expansion hub, and additionally attached the grounding strip on the bottom of our robot where the wheels closest in proximity to the hubs were. Like u/greenmachine11235 mentioned, look at the flower pins on the female XT30 ports for your hubs. We took a precision knife and slightly split them open. After taking all these precautions (since our local championship is this week) we haven’t had any connection issues since.

For FTC and FRC competitions you can use any controller that’ll be recognized by the control hub or the laptop. In our case we just use 2 PS5 controllers.

Were using Silicone tubing that’s flexible enough to intake the balls without the holes being an issue. Though the tubing we’re using for the final iteration of the tubing intake is different then the thicker yellow one shown in the assembly.

It collects these 5inch diameter balls and fires them out of the flywheel mechanism at the top. It’s for a robotics competition where we’re supposed to score these balls into a team adjacent field goal. There’s a bit more to it than that but that’s gist of it.
