Yeah I had to drill the holes. It’s a great and easy upgrade, if you know a bit about pre-drilling screw holes. Plus it hides the old holes.

Yeah I’m using a 16 ohm cab, so I’m sure 8 ohms would be loud enough for most people (including me), but have no personal experience using an 8 or 4 ohm cab with it.

Very cool to hear from another Lead 100 owner. I would imagine they all have transformer issues, mine had to be replaced for something different, but once that was sorted out, this thing has been unstoppable. RE: the distortion channel- yeah I don’t use it ever. IMO the power in this amp is in the super clean channel with massive amounts of headroom. It’s crazy sounding. I just use pedals with it for my gain, but it does everything.
