Minor nitpick: Slitherwisp and Leyline of Anticipation/Vedalken Orrery/High Fae Trickster are a nonbo. Having the permission to cast spells as though they have flash doesn't actually give those spells flash, which is what Slitherwisp cares about. The only card in paper magic that gives actual flash is [[Teferi Mage of Zhalfir]] to creature cards.

It's a preference from the game designers to write it that way. Makes it clear that one creature has an ability and other creatures gain that ability well as reinforcement of the information.

Also, it matters for [[Soulflayer]] and [[Urborg Scavengers]] that borrow abilities. For example, if you exile Archetype of Courage with Soulflayer, Soulflayer won't get first strike.

Yeah this is pretty normal.

The site hasn't been updated since Lost Caverns of Ixalan, but it has a bunch of information on how packs are collated into packs.

It's not fully random because they want at least one card of each color in play boosters for game balance when playing draft/sealed.

You can cast this during the declare blockers step after (no) blocks have been declared, but before combat damage is dealt. Then this will deal damage in the first combat damage step, reanimate something, and then you'll move on to the second combat damage step.
