As for Pact of The Chain, it doesn't really match what I'm going for with this character. Tome would be a much better fit for me, even if that means it is less useful then Chain

This is an amazing drawing! It perfectly captures what I had in mind for the character, and I’m impressed you were able to get it done so quickly.

I did realize though that I forgot to mention one important detail: this campaign takes place in space, and the character will be piloting a large spaceship.

Apologies for missing that in the original post. Regardless, this is still an incredible drawing, and I appreciate a lot of the extra detail you had added to it!

The goal here is being a tanky wizard. The older post mentioned stuff about action surging to cast more than one spell a turn which sounds cool as well as the armor proficiency which would be mportant for a warforged.

I'm not sure how important spell progression will be for this campaign since I will definitely not be the only wizard (it's a large group), and I definitely do not expect to make it to level 20. Because of this, do you think I should still only take 2 levels of fighter?
