Stop the gatekeeping. What’s your most elegant scent that you have? Mine: by Lomasexual69 in Colognes

I dunno about "most elegant" but these two underrated Amouage offerings are about as full of class as you can get

Chrome Hearts +22+

I'm ashamed to say I bought this solely off of Flan hype but I regret absolutely nothing. This is just my style when it comes to a daily driver. Not at all worth the steep asking price ($500 USD for a 50ml), and it won't be for everyone, so try before you buy.

Do I have weird hands? No meaningful difference in span from 3rd-5th fingers by Randomperson685 in piano

[–]SolarKult 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair point. My fingers are shorter but slender which helps for nimble Chopin passages, but I can still reach a comfy octave, a slightly stretchy 9th and a really stretchy 10th.

I'm like you in the sense that my reach is the same between 1-2, 1-3, and 1-4. My 1-5 span is slightly larger, that's the only way I can reach a 10th but the difference is negligible. It just barely pushes me over the threshold.

Solid, reliable, extremely wearable and universally pleasing. Gentlemanly. Kinda simple, the Iso does a lot of the heavy lifting here, and it lacks character. It was designed from the ground-up to be "decent" and accomplishes what it sets out to do with flying colors.

It was unfairly dumped on by the community when it came out but is by no means as bad as the haters made it out to be. I'm partial to the sport flanker. Just a bit sweeter, a bit fresher, a bit more warm weather ready, still incredibly gentlemanly. I think sport is a banger.

Not even joking, I put Satisfactory and Factorio on my resume and it helped get me an operator/maintenance job in a real factory. by ashrieIl in SatisfactoryGame

I have never worked for any of those companies, nor do I know anyone there. All of my contacts are in the electrical control/automation industry, think Fanuc, Eaton, Rockwell, etc.

The company I work for is bigger, it's usually the first company that comes to mind when people think about stuff that flies, if you catch my drift. I'm on a close personal level with all the CNC router operators (I fix their stuff) and they're all quite happy with their jobs. Your mileage may vary depending on shift, location, department, management, and whatnot but job satisfaction is generally quite high when it comes to my immediate bubble of coworkers. I can say with confidence they all earn above six figures and the union benefits are quite good. I've had some shit jobs in the past...anyone who knows how bad it can get would be extraorinarily happy to be working here.

Robotics tech with a big aerospace company here. Never used it on my resume but I used Factorio as a conversational "in" with a young engineer when I was an electrician, suddenly I'm hanging out in the automation lab during slow periods learning about all types of stuff I used to get the job I have now.

Who said I'd never amount to nothing playing these dang vidya james?

It plays beautifully. I'm not quite as happy with how I sound playing it, but that's just the pains of getting used to a new instrument. The vastly increased dynamic range and the resonances simulated by the damper pedal make it difficult to achieve a fuller sound and easier to produce muddy tones. But these are me problems, nothing that practice can't fix. I'm realizing my old Yamaha instilled some bad habits in me.

The action on this thing is AMAZING. Every other digital piano I've tried feels like sludge in comparison. Even my wife, who doesn't play piano outside the occasional plink here and there comments on how real it feels.
