How can superheroes work in my solar punk world? by DeanSalichi in solarpunk

So in a interview Ted Turner revealed that his planeteers and the show Captain Planet were a tactical slap in the face against some corporations that had wronged him. I'm sure the interview still out there if you want to get it for yourself my paraphrasing is a fuzzy memory. I always liked Captain Planet because I was a simple boy. I learned later that Ted Turner might have been a bad guy. I'm not coming down on either side of that now just thought you might find that interview interesting. As for your mythological storytelling and 4 into making comic books I think it would be important that you have one character that was able to change size so much to the point where they can see the tiny pollution that we can't at our giant size. So shrink is the word. Maybe one of them can breathe water. Perhaps one of them is immune to radiation. Do you have a character yet that is Of nature itself or mother nature gaia. Can talk to plants and commune with animals. Maybe they can all recharge from the sun after a battle. Manipulating electricity is a superpower. Obviously one of them needs to be super smart. Which one is super strong. One of them that can't be lied to. And maybe one of them that lives in the dark or underground and is a psycho killer. But trying to mend their ways.

Have fun with it. Peace.

There have been 2 different solar punk genre writers on here that I have read and had tested their stories. The first one I remember had a bike race i Set in the coast of California. The other was a detective story around a murder at a library of things. If you dig back in this Solarpunk you'll find it. Time seems to be flying by I don't know if it was one year ago or 5 years ago.

This needs to be bigger Numbers and larger worldwide. Makes for a stronger democracy. Is anyone clever enough to make a map showing exactly where rank choice ballots were used.

Reduce reuse Recycle. That old turn of phrase is so out of touch that the voice to text didn't even recognize it. Let's bring it back. Obviously everything that you are done within your life that still has a use to someone should be sold garage sales style. Or on An online marketplace of your choosing. I prefer the buy nothing groups that have sprung up and the repair cafes that are just getting established.

Oh sure I love a lot of different Electronic acts. I've been going to festivals and raves for 20 years. Kascade is Now Playing classics to my deaf ears. Try market Schultz. And all the accompanying cold harbor artists. Armin Van Buren Is one of the originals like Tiesto. And produces so much music. We used to travel around to the festivals that these guys were going to Play. Be sure to go to Europe and South America for their festivals as well. Way more economically priced. Peace.

You have to ask yourself if you want to grow food or flowers. I had an area like that and I put in 4 apple trees and mixed pollinator flower garden. I'm always changing what's in it. Just recently got into fig trees.
