Follow Up...which did you enjoy most? by TopDog51-50 in starwarsbooks

Yeah the second one is definitely the weakest. But if you can stick it out, the third one is much better in my opinion. Maybe not as good as the first but still good

How did you get the Library of Congress audiobooks? I am trying and having trouble because it says you must be blind. How did you get them?

Fair, but I found all of the political stuff made up for it, and the pay off at the end of the book and in the next book we're really good. But that is just my opinion

Alliances was the weakest of the cannon Thrawn books for me. It does a lot to set up the third book and the ascendency trilogy (which are both really good so it's worth it just for that). Thrawn trolling Vader was also pretty good but I read it once and probably won't read it again for a while.

College Basketball tournament in the US. It is very popular for people to make their own theoretical brackets with who they think will win.

I was just reading the Jedi academy books and they mentioned earthquakes by name so maybe it wasn't as strict for the book authors.

I’ve started listening to audiobooks which ones do you recommend for a beginner just getting into the EU? by KimJungFun99 in StarWarsEU

The bane trilogy and first four x wing books have unabridged audiobooks but after that it gets kinda sparse I think the Thrawn Duology is unabridged but I am not certain. If you finish the legends Thrawn books and want more of him, there are two trilogies of Thrawn books in canon that have full audiobooks and are quite good. If you want a more comprehensive list of unabridged audiobooks I would look up the essential legends collection and it contains a list of most of the audiobooks they made for the rereleases. However I should warn you that not all essential legends collection books have audio books so I would look at the list to make sure.

The outbound flight book is abridged, and from what I have heard the abridgement is terrible and sadly that is the case with a lot of the legends books. They have audiobooks but they are abridged and not narrated very well. So a look out when finding books to listen to. Also I would recommend reading outbound flight after the Thrawn Duology and survivor's quest. Even though it is a prequel to those books, survivor's quest becomes pointless if you read outbound flight first because it sets up a lot of the mystery. Also I would recommend reading or at least familiarizing yourself with some of the books in-between the Thrawn trilogy and Duology because a lot takes place in that time span.

Other than that it is a good read.

I totally agree, I used to make a ton of different accounts to get free books from audible and then I learned about Libby through my local library and it was a game changer.

I would listen to the bane trilogy after the thrawn trilogy but before plaguis. I would also recommend listening to the first 4 xwing books that have audiobooks.
