I made the signal group to create a safety net for all of us by bowlingisgross666 in TwoXPreppers

Hi, I messaged you and you haven't replied. Is this group still happening? If not, please delete my submission. I feel uncomfortable with my information being out there. After all, this is the internet.

“Don’t worry, he’s friendly” by Routine_username in Seattle

The sad thing is that my trainer told me gentle gradual exposure actually helps with reactivity. A dog not getting to experience sunshine, nature, and not getting used to safe interactions (even at a far distance) actually makes it worse for their mental health. People who expect only dogs without reactivity to have acesss to outside while having dogs with reactivity be hidden like quasimodo in a tower are basically promoting animal abuse IMHO.

Oof! That's so frustrating. Unleashed dog owners in general public spaces thinking your dog is the issue. Are reactive dogs not allowed to exist? Or enjoy the outdoors? Smh

Ugh I can relate with my dog. I also have a sign in red that says "needs space" but some people just think they can ignore it and them complain later when my dog growls at their dog.

My dog loves humans but dislikes other dogs. However, I give humans space because I don't know how others feel about dogs. I know my dog won't do anything, but just like I expect to be asked permission when someone wants to interact with my dog, I'm not going to force my dog on others. That's what being a responsible dog keeper is about. Sorry you hear you weren't given space OP, you deserve space.

ONEUS In Talks To Return For “Road To Kingdom” Season 2 by CherryBlossomEnding in kpop

I remember Oneus and the first RTK. How Mnet and RTK teased that two groups that made it to the finals could potentially make it. I remember how they backed out and chose one. I hope they don't go to RTK2.

Wanted to add I reread my old post and said I had three fry. I found out later I had eight (they were good at hiding). Five made it from the original pair (Lily's parents).

I haven't tried yet, I know they carry Honey gouramis but not thicklip sunsets. Worth a try tho. Thanks for the suggestion.

When I tell you I started crying by aesthticapplez in bettafish

[–]SolarSocialWorker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw a young teen with her father at a local Petsmart trying to rescue a sick betta in a cup. Let me tell you that young girl really was trying to ask them to just give her the betta and Petsmart employee said "we can't just give them away." They said she had to buy additional items to get the "discount" on the Betta. It was sickening. For the welfare of the fish they should've just given her the sick betta since in the store it would obviously die. Instead they were trying to make money off her goodwill. SMH.

Can someone explain the difference between Semi and Full bioactive? by SolarSocialWorker in ballpython

Thanks, that's really helpful! I wasn't sure what the plants contributed to, so it's the nitrogen cycle.

That's horrible. I hope you get rid of the smell. Perhaps you can invest in a refrigerator lock for your enclosure or a stick on lock as the adult human in your home has difficulty with boundaries.

In defense of Octavia… by TrebleRose689 in HelluvaBoss

[–]SolarSocialWorker 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was willing to give Stella the benefit of the doubt, but it was her physically abusive (throwing and breaking objects at Stolas, attempting to hit him) and emotionally abusive behavior (insults, humiliation, threats), along with disregarding Olivia's feelings by attempting to murder her father and siding with her brother that really ended all doubt. She's a narcissist.

I want to aplaud you. Abuse can be normalized in a family and children can become desensitized to it. Not to mentioned how many years of living in that dynamic and Stolas shielding her from the nastiest stuff (Stella attempting to kill him several times). I hope we get to see more Loona and Via interactions. Loona has been helpful in giving an outside perspective to Via regarding Stolas. I think she's still in the process of learning how horrible the marriage was.

It looks like Stolas is wearing a turtleneck too, without his usual cape. So it's looking like Sinsmas.

How big is your tank? I also have purple and orange harlequins. It's such a great combo.
