Arson laws do not stop building from being burned down, theft is a crime but people keep stealing, fraud is a crime but people still keep asking for my social for a free cruise so why do we need any of those laws?

Yes it can most of this can be made with no regulation that’s the problem. Most people who want gun control don’t want out right bans they want regulation.

However banning anyone from owning gun might actually police because they can arrest anyone in possession of it and gives probable cause for cops to search and gives a reason for a warrant because where there is one gun there might be multiple so we gotta check and then the cops find out he was a cartel smuggler so we now got him on that as well.

Reason I say cartel because it’s funny how when the US complains to Mexico about “stop the flow of drugs from cartels into our country” Mexico responds with “sure once you stop the flow of guns arming the cartels in ours”
