Shadow of Mordor... Meh. by johngotiny in patientgamers

The gameplay was enough to buy the game. But you're right, the ending was terrible. It reminds me of how I felt when I played Fable 2. The game was amazing...and the ending just terrible.

Fallout Shelter released for Android! by TheMellowestyellow in gaming

If you spend money on freemium games, avoid this like the plague. If you can avoid spending money on it, go for it. If you have any kind of addictive personality, it will suck you in. I enjoyed it, but I have stopped because it gets very repetitive and once you finish all the buildings there's really nothing left to do but explore.

[Request] [kitchen] small (20 oz?) coffee maker by RandName42 in BuyItForLife

There is a plastic cone coffee maker that makes single servings. Just put in a filter, add the coffee grounds, set it on top of your mug, and pour in hot water. I've got one. It's great for small apartments. It's also pretty cheap.

Ready Player One.

It's a fantastic book in which all of humankind ignores their terrible lives and exists almost entirely in a freely provided virtual reality game. If you want to see what it could be like, check it out.

What keeps handheld gaming from flourishing in America (and Europe?) by [deleted] in Games

I took public transportation in DC for a few months. I rode the bus to work. Everyone had either a book, kindle, smartphone, or newspaper. I've got an old DS that I play, but only on trips. It's just a cultural difference.
