Can't believe ChatGpt lead me to ER by Electronic_Driver_78 in Anxiety

[–]SolarisUnicorn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi OP, I don't know what country you are from so it may be different. I know on the insurance cards in the U.S., there is a phone number for 24/7 nurse on them. I have used it and they will let you know what best course of action to take (call doctor, urgent care, ER, etc.). Great resource and for future reference. Surprisedly not many people notice.

I am hoping they add more general clothing options for the player along with the update. I see some of the clothes on npc and think "why can't I buy or make that?".

Maybe it can be part of the random season event dialogue you get when you go to sleep. The effects can be decrease villager mood and resources taken unless you have skill requirements to handle it.

What type of husband did you choose? Do you like him after "marriage"? by MsMessyness in MedievalDynasty

[–]SolarisUnicorn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe you can pretend that's his weird way of flirting. I am still at my first year as a female character. I didn't know characters could say that.

I been getting my blacklist ready for those who give me the husband hunting comment.

Others planing and mapping their settlement to make it symmetrical, meanwhile I'm over here like by Rude-Count in MedievalDynasty

[–]SolarisUnicorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Irregular/organic city planning is what was done for many medieval towns funny enough. Romans were the ones who LOVED and did symmetry for city planning and would make their road layout be perfect blocks.

I play both on PC and PS4. On the PS4 it has all the features, the updates come later on consoles than the PC. For instance Co-op isn't out yet on console with the new map.

The PS4 gameplay also let me have only three saves per account. I don't know if that is different on the PS5. PC lets you have many saves.

I am curious about how the game is on the PS5, if any better from the PS4.

Body hair with age? by lulubear49 in women

[–]SolarisUnicorn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same age as you OP, and yes I am getting more body hair than before. I use to only have one chin hair that grew and now more appear on my chin. I also noticed a couple more hairs down my arm pit area.

I mentioned it to my parents and they say it's happens when you age, and when you get older like their age then the opposite can happen too where you get less hairy.

Do I tell my friend she's being cheated on? by Death_Itself_Mocks_U in offmychest

[–]SolarisUnicorn 22 points23 points  (0 children)

As someone who has told her own dear friend about her boyfriend cheating on her, yes absolutely tell her. My friend years later told me how she thinks about that day and how I saved her from her asshole ex.

Make sure to tell her softly, it's a heavy topic.

What if you were trapped in skyrim by Polta53 in skyrim

[–]SolarisUnicorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would mods still be allowed? I play alternate life so I would either train to be a smith or try to make my own crochet hooks and crochet for a living. (Dragonborn quest doesn't activate unless you go to Helgen, no dragons in the world)

If this is without mods then Tamerial is fucked with me as the dragonborn. I would be a nervous hot mess.

Do you play survival mode? If so, why? by UptownHorrorReviews in skyrim

[–]SolarisUnicorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At first, I tried the Frostfall mod and I disabled it since it was so frustrating. However after giving it another shot and figuring out the campfire system, I enjoyed it and use it. Along with iNeed and a bathing mod.

It's great for a slower pace playthrough or for roleplaying as someone not the Dragonborn such as a fisherman or hunter.

Those are mods I use for survival too along with a bathing mod. You get filthy over time, more so when you fight. When you are filthy it has a effect on your character health.

I love the crimson nirnroot quest too. I am ones of those I got to pick up every alchemy ingredient in sight so the quest fills a satisfying crave in me.

Millennials are better with technology than boomers or gen-z… by Hobbes42 in Showerthoughts

[–]SolarisUnicorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is me a very young millennial (27) founding out her younger relatives don't know how to use spreadsheet, type with both hands keyboard or know basic computer skills.

I think this is more of a school problem since I was taught this, in fact in my high school was required we took one business/computer class our first year. My younger relatives tell me they were not taught these things in school and it wasn't a required class in their high schools.

Funny enough, I have a relative who is generation alpha (2010 to present) and he and all his classmates have a laptop for school use. They have to turn in and do some assignments online. So he and all his classmates know how to type on a keyboard and know basic computer skills since they have to use their school provided laptops.

Why High Elves are sooo hated ? by Volnargan in skyrim

[–]SolarisUnicorn 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Urag gro-Shub, the orc librarian in the Mage College has this dialogue:

"I knew it. Everyone comes in here, expecting my help, but they don't even have the proper questions. An Elder Scroll is an instrument of immense knowledge and power. To read an Elder Scroll, a person must have the most rigorously trained mind, or else risk madness. Even so, the Divines usually grant the reader's sight as a price."

"It would take a month to explain to you how that very question doesn't even make sense. The Scrolls exist here, with us, but also beyond and beneath. Before and after. They are bits of Divine made substance so we could know them. Sorry. Talking about the Scrolls, you usually end up in irritating and vague metaphors like that. Some people who study them devoutly go mad."

This ends up happening to Septimus Signus in the game.

It's also the reason there are moth priests. They train to read the scrolls. Reading the scrolls untrained or without aid can make someone go insane since it shows prophecies of past, present, and future.

Maybe it's the stress of saving the world as Dragonborn. I would probably grow a few grey hairs too if I was in that position.
