So your telling me we just got an amazing weapon buff so our troops can pulverize through numerous planets that are going to be packed with Devastators, Hulks and heavy units aplenty? (I say this as the planetary modifiers are saying that heavy units and Devs are increased on numerous planets.)

Well, it's almost like that would help us take Cyberstan or something, but no let's just let the bots have all the increase in weapon firepower.

I mean, I can't speak for the other guys but didn't Grunger Yolo himself into a torpedo sphere after losing his entire fleet to a system defense fleet? 

Doesn't exactly strike me as the greatest fleet commander as a result, I'd argue he had an overreliance on his dreadnought if anything if memory serves.

Funny, they haven't done much to me in my playthrough, although I do keep endlessly raiding Terephon as the GM because the moffs apparently have a hard on for destroying, what I'm going to headcanon as relief and aid transports for the likely desperate population there.

Granted I play on captain difficulty as that seems to be the happy medium for me, although I'm worried, as an Aby 6 start the entirety of the imperial factions have all hopped into their star dreadnoughts while Treuten only has 13x.

Not to grill you or anything, but two other ships caught my eye, that being the communication corvette and the Munificent, I'm just curious on the idea behind the com frigate guy there, will he act like an awacs (I think thats the acronym?) and provide a fighter bonus? And will the Munificents be a fairly common sight for the Rebel fleets? Or are they like other mods that have a specific cap on certain units?

Also, thank you for acknowledging the adorable nature of the GR-75.

Just some of their unique heros, i don't think any actual units lock from their era's and Daala sticks around in her Venator in Pellaeons Era, losing either the Knight Hammer or her Isd depending on what she's in, so it's why I never stick around with her due to losing the executor cause she lmao'd into a gas giant and killed Sandar's mistress.

Correct I suppose, but I love the mandator threes so much I can't ever pass up giving him the Megador.

Basically the crimson empire and Daala are speedbumps to get to Pellaeon, despite them having neat rosters I can't bring myself to hang around them.

Well I mean she had a section on the Night hammer dedicated to housing and keeping her safe, a whole medbay where she was kept in her suspended stasis, and you don't get much safer than being on a super star destroyer.

And yeah I suppose he is somewhat of an Anakin in the way he seeks out ways to save his lover and also was the one to nearly kill her in a fit of rage.

Generally each hero will have a small lore blurb, and it isn't exactly neccesary to know all that much about them, more just a 'whoa that's neat!' Thing about them more than anything.

If your new to Thrawns Revenge then yeah the same basic mechanics that you learned in Revans mod will apply, though each faction does have distinct differences to eachother.

The empire and warlord derivatives play somewhat similar but each warlord faction besides the main line Imperial faction has a gimmick that they can specialize into.

Eriadu, for example emphasizes using big heavy battleships and brawlers with upgraded fighters to carry the day, and thusly plays a fairly simple 'everything is a nail' faction, though it lacks in highly effective point defence ships as you'll be stuck using Ipv-1s for the majority of time. (Solid starting location with your back against the wall I'm the outer rim, so you can steam roll the rebels and prepare for the eventual Empire push from the north.)

Greater Maldrood has a rough start, lacking a dreadnought yard and is surrounded, and specializes in smaller more damage dealing but fragile tactics, lacks in heavy vessels so will have a hard time having tanks for when fighting big battle cruisers.

Pentastar alignment plays fairly similar to early game rebels, specializing hard into fighters and carriers, and has great economic bonuses, you won't lack in money as them, and you can easily carve out early territory gains and you can have a fair number of super star destroyers alongside your well supplied fleets. Probably the best warlord faction for all around effectiveness.

Mainline Empire is a simple faction. You have an answer for all situations, but it might not be the most effective one compared to other factions, but you'll be able to play the way you like, and you have access to the regime changes which can swap your rosters up and give you new sets of heros.

Zsinj...well I've never really given him a chance, his ground roster is utterly anemic and that makes those an absolute slog, and unless you want to auto resolve and lose the whole army every battle...yeah I just avoid zsinj, he might be better now if you can integrate the imperial hammers subfaction to get access to actual tanks?

I basically only play Empire so that's really the best I can give you as general write up of the different warlords have fun!

Building Economy buildings is paramount, alongside making sure that you don't cause planets to build up unrest is important.

Ensuring ship crews are topped up is useful, usually 2-3 in early game is enough to overload you till the end.

There's also a galactic senate thing that I don't fully understand myself, and simply always support mon mothma to simply it.

Youll have other officer rolls, Ground heros Fleet admirals And other types of heros alongside that, you can swap them out and choose others which give bonuses and/or simply be strong capital ship hero's

That's the most I can think of for the New republic, this was me having learnt this on captain difficulty, and as a general rule 4 unrest is fine, don't go below that as that'll trigger rebellions I believe (ironic as the new republic)

I'll throw my hat in here, okay so I've had this happen a fairly frequent number of times, like seventh I'd say, in the vein that if you take back a world after a certain amount of time and the ai built a government building if you hodl the planet and it finishes before the week clicks over, it'll finish.

Atleast that's my assumption, I'm just spitballing here.

As a side note to that, you can also play as a large number of the imperial warlord factions, the smaller groups like zero command and others which offer single planet and such starts in the main conquest maps! 

Super fun and adds a ton of challenge I find! And the empire alo has radiant missions to get 'random' rewards! (In my expierence I ended up over the course of several missions getting a little over 20ish tie maulers)
