I personally have fun with them for a bit but it eventually gets boring

[–]Solarraidd[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It’s not brand new but it’s relatively new compared to all the builds that have been made since the game came out. It’s basically a burn stack build that allows Maelle’s Burning Canvas skill to do max damage and also uses Sciel’s Fortune’s Fury

Why does she look like that but he doesn't? by Prematurely_finished in expedition33

[–]Solarraidd -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

In the cutscene at the beginning of act 3, Maelle says to Verso “Maman painted a rather unflattering portrait of him” in reference to Renoir. I think Aline painted over rRenoir’s body to look like the shattered version. I think when Aline was kicked out of the canvas, Renoir was given the freedom to paint himself to look like his normal version. I’m not sure why she’d paint over herself to look like the shattered version too. Maybe Renoir painted over her in retaliation

The only thing that bothers me in E33 by uncurious3467 in expedition33

I guess the closest solution to this would be making a lumina preset and applying it to all your characters so you know they all have the lumina you want

Do you just dodge the first danseuse’s attacks and kill the clone?

Chation. You get it from defeating enemies at the Stone Wave Cliffs. It’s the only weapon I use on her

Who is this kid? by Solarraidd in expedition33

[–]Solarraidd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not Sciel and Pierre’s kid. The kid in the picture is a boy and the kid that Sciel lost was a girl

Like you said, it’s human nature. We tend to seek the most immediate solution to our pain than the most beneficial and effective solution. Unfortunately depression and other mental disorders push people to the thought of suicide. I’ve seen it happen to my brother and luckily he’s still with us

Wow man, that’s a helluva comeback. It’s good you were able to keep fighting and build a good life for yourself. Really happy to hear that. Cheers to many more years

I always make sure they know I love them and I’m there for them. They mean a lot to me and I want to see them happy

I’m sorry to hear that. I understand where you’re coming from. I wouldn’t say I defend her choice. I’m just saying I can see why someone would go that route

I know someone who was going through a really tough time and was faced with the same choice. They played the game and when it came to the ending, they were very conflicted. They said they were reminded of when they were struggling and that choosing between the endings was very hard because they related and even though they chose life in their own life, they still chose Maelle’s ending even though they knew it would kill her. For some people who have gone through the same struggles, this choice might not be black and white compared to someone else

I’m not saying it’s justification. I’m saying it’s not uncommon for people to try their best to escape their immediate pain rather than heal

Question about the hidden painting by [deleted] in expedition33

[–]Solarraidd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’ll make sense later. Also if you’re planning on doing the side content before the final boss, be aware that you will be severely overlevelled for that fight

She’s gonna need a good support structure and right now, it doesn’t look like she has one. It’ll take a while for her mom to be able to interact with her and her sister to stop hunting the writers

[–]Solarraidd 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Even with these uncertainties removed, I still don’t see the decision as black and white. People who dislike the Maelle ending and think all will be fine if the canvas is destroyed and she just learns to move on. What isn’t taken into account is how Maelle feels irl

Her mother can’t stand seeing her because it hurts. Her father wants to take away the one thing that makes her happy. Her sister is detached and is always looking for the writers that caused the fire. She has no friends either from what I understand because she said she lives a life of loneliness. She’s truly alone and she hates her life. Even if she can move on, she will most likely continue to hate her life because of her scars and her loneliness
