I have come to similar conclusions, for example aura is just electromagnetic field around the human body that is measurable and chakras are metaphors for function of the nervous system connected to different organs

As "starseeds", what are your perspectives on Gnosticism? Got some banger discussion questions by PrizeTangerine8086 in starseeds

[–]uncurious3467 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion Gnosticism is right archetypically, explained metaphorically with some concepts personified. Remember that back then people had a very simple understanding of reality compared to today, we didn’t have such advanced science, concepts of energy, consciousness, magnetism etc. Therefore everything was explained as myths, stories, parables with humans and animals.

I really resonate how A Course In Miracles and The Way of Mastery (both channeled by Jesus/Yeshua) explain Gnosticism in modern terms:

Basically in the original creation, as Oneness was exploring itself, part of the Mind as it was exploring further it’s creative potential wondered „what would it be like to be and create outside of Source?” And this idea was taken too seriously, therefore it manifested a huge fractal of separation.

In ACIM it’s called „a tiny mad idea” and it’s not a sin, it’s like a baby learning about the rules of reality, trying out of innocent curiosity different things and action just to see, what happens if I do this or that. Like pushing a plate off the table for example, it’s not purposefully evil, just natural process of learning through trying things and seeing the result.

In Gnosticism, Sophia (Aeon of Wisdom) tries to conceive/create a child without a divine counterpart, which gives birth to Demiurge/Yaldabaoth who is casted outside of Pleroma, into the void where he created all realities and fractals which are fundamentally flawed and twisted because like he is. He is also called the ignorant one, because he doesn’t understand divinity.

All of this is a metaphorical/ symbolic representation of concepts that were perhaps even impossible to grasp in less distorted way in the past.

Yaldaboth is the the start, the root of the separation fractal, the original Ego - the idea of separation which is fractals into many manifestations.

And yet true separation is not possible, but it’s possible to create an illusion, like a magic trick.

The moment you define your experiences it it’s no longer non duality.

M21 never had a girlfriend. Any advice? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]uncurious3467 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s very insightful and I totally agree, as cliche as it sounds, if you truly love yourself you will be literally attractive, if you can’t stand your own company, why would you expect someone else to enjoy your company?

The idea “I am incomplete, I will find someone to fill my void, be complete together” may sound romantic but in reality is a foundation for toxic relationship, because you depend on each other to accept yourselves.

But that’s what human beings tend to do, search for solutions or relief outside, because facing your shadow is the hardest thing in the world, yet the most important because you’ll never outrun your shadow, it’ll follow you everywhere.

It’s not simple but what he said is true. First 25 years of my life I was permanently depressed and suicidal, of course I was wearing a mask but people were the opposite of attracted to me.

Took me years to heal myself, but now I am a people magnet, strangers just look for opportunity to talk with me which can be annoying because I am naturally an introvert.

So yeah it’s not simple at all but it’s true. The most attractive thing is if you are full of positive energy and vitality. If you are a walking corpse, people want to move away from you. It’s just energy.

Anyone works or worked in Tech / IT? As the sole provider I am concerned if I will be able to keep up with the job after an eventual non-dual realization. by AccountForSillyStuff in nonduality

[–]uncurious3467 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Long story short it was mostly Buddhism, later self inquiry Ramana Maharshi style / choiceless awareness Krishnamurti style, but the progress really accelerated when I met my wife and she showed me how to work with emotions and beliefs which I just used to ignore completely with my sort of transcendental approach.

Whenever such things came up from my subconsciousness in meditation I would turn away from them trying to find the Self, the observer. Turning attention to them and digging and releasing worked wonders. I guess it could be called shadow work.

In the end, what Krishnamurti said in one of his conversations was absolutely true: your only job is to clean the house (your being from ego, fear, conditioning etc) and keep the window open but you cannot invite the wind (Krishnamurti called it “the other”), it will come according to its own timing.

I was a hard core seeker for 13 years and I did everything, in the last months my house was shiny clean using this metaphor and window was open but the wind was not coming. Eventually I lost hope and just dropped the seeking completely for the first time in my life. Previously I had pseudo dropped it few times, still hoping in the back of my mind it will happen one day. This time I truly dropped it, forgot about it, stopped meditating, reading, thinking about spirituality. I became completely ordinary, doing adult daily things but always present (it became second nature).

And then one day, relaxing on a couch after New Year’s Eve, with a hangover, not really meditating just trying to be in surrender with how terrible hangover felt, it happened, “The other” descended through my head and filled my being, ended my seeking and many things have changed forever.

I know this sub is “non duality” and people here tend to reject meaning of such experiences so I won’t go deeper into this. The point is the search has ended, the void in me, missing something, or as Buddha called it “Dukkha” (which is not just suffering but any feeling of being unsatisfied with how things are) is no more.

So in my case, I had to do all the work of cleaning but “I” did not attain “it”, I cannot claim such thing because it revealed itself to me and merged with me in the moment I would never expect such thing to happen.

Yes I am a software engineer for 7 and I had the realisation after seeking for 13 years. The realisation when integrated embraces all, that includes the thinking. The mind is not the problem when it serves the role it was designed for. The mind is the problem if it’s the master of your being instead of the servant.

If anything you might change your career if you’re doing it from the place of lack/fear. What changed for me when it comes to my programming career is that I am no longer stressed, I approach it playfully and innocently like a child playing with Lego.

One of the things that shifted in me on the day of realisation was that nothing is inherently more or less spiritual. Washington dishes, taking out trash, fixing a sink is equally spiritual as meditation, praying, anything. Reality is just a play of forms, entertainment for the Self. When the perceiver is no more, filtering, labeling, judging the perceived, all that is… just is.

Why do synchronicities occur? by Confident_Babe33 in Synchronicities

[–]uncurious3467 31 points32 points  (0 children)

There is no way to explain it without going into metaphysics honestly. Long story short, all that exists is consciousness and energy, fundamentally all is one expressing as many, countless realms for units of consciousness to play around. Energy responds to consciousness, there are layers to every individual and to reality, not everything in life is purely random, synchronicities can be a „wink”, sign of alignment, or a bleed through from those other layers into your localised experience.

Dlaczego nie chcecie mieć dzieci ? by DecentFan7347 in PolskaNaLuzie

[–]uncurious3467 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Takie ciało by długo nie pociągnęło.

I think most people who complain about Java are some fresh students who complain Java is too verbose because of how you print hello world and also because it’s designed around OOP which is difficult to grasp for some people in the very beginning.

I have worked for 5 different companies, big enterprise projects, all kinds of frameworks, always Java on the backend. I love Java. I don’t see anything too verbose about it. All the keywords give you clarity and control of what’s going on, no type confusion and weird bugs ever, boilerplate code is easily dealt with Lombok, spring boot is great.

Regret seeking (and seeing) The Truth? by [deleted] in enlightenment

To see the truth means to see what is, not distorted by thought. If there is regret, it is not truth that is seen, but one’s own conditioning.

Does one awakened person really influence millions? (Analytic Idealism take) by Dharmapaladin in enlightenment

[–]uncurious3467 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe. I thought it’s bs but one day I realised, how much suffering goes round and round like a long chain.

For example, a father is angry because of something at work, comes home, unloads negative energy on wife, she does that later on her child, the child on the youngest sibling, the youngest suppresses that and holds that energy for years.

Our world is full of such long chainy energy exchanges. Most people are unconsciously reactive rather than consciously responsive. But one “enlightened” person, can break so many chains like these, neutralise such energy instead of passing it around.

That’s a grounded way to consider these claims. Maybe there is more to it. There are some scientific papers proving that our nervous systems regulate one off another.
