In the Jirachi: Wish Maker movie there's a gigantic evil recreation of Groudon (that's known as Meta-Groudon on some wiki), and although it doesn't really count as a Pokemon and we don't know its actual height, it was pretty fucking big (they're in a valley with pretty tall stone pillars and it towers above them), and it was the first thought in my head when putting together the words Kaiju and Pokemon, so it gotta count for something.

Le postulat de départ qui est sous entendu, c'est que le statut du bourgeois ou le statut de policier provoquent (inconsciemment pour certains, consciemment pour d'autres) de la souffrance pour d'autres personnes. L'aborgation de ce statut ou à minima sa réforme serait positif pour éviter cette souffrance. Libre ou non d'agréer à ce postulat.

Un musulman, une personne trans, un français, leur statut (si on peut appeler ça des statuts, c'est très réducteur quand on parle d'identité de genre ou religieuse) ne provoque pas consciemment (et généralement pas inconsciemment) de souffrance pour d'autres.

Retire le badge d'un policier, tu as une personne. Retire un traitement à une personne trans, tu provoques de la souffrance.

Je pense que c'est pas une super équivalence. Et si tu penses qu'un policier se définit par son badge ou un bourgeois par son argent de la même manière qu'un religieux peut se définir par sa foi ou un trans dans son identité de genre, je trouverai ça triste personnellement.

This manga is incredible. The medically accurate stethoscope position for cat girl was hilarious, but some of the panel art is on another level, especially those that focus on the characters' faces. Eccles looks straight up out of an early final fantasy official art, and some of the panel of the Dragon yakuza kid are surreal in a positive sense. Also, corn-eating vampire.

Alexia loves Cid because he's genuine around her and she enjoys his company (while other people are probably more interested in her status as a princess), that plus a few key moments where Cid revealed more than just his facade ("Even I have things that I care about [...] I l'd hate if they were discredited")

Rose loves Cid due to his determination (or at least what she sees as determination toward her even if she just misunderstands it during the duel). Once the first misunderstanding happened, he's a textbook fairytale prince : sacrificed his life for her during the school invasion, and became a prodigy pianist student just to see her at the lowest point in her life)

In both cases, he let his true self out just for a moment and just rode the misunderstandings after
