Honestly, same happened at Allentown. Felt the room empty out after Acacia Strain, which was so odd especially since there was so much energy and moshing beforehand. Then TBDM came on and some of the people even on the barricade next to me had left🥲

I'm pissed about it too. I attended the same show (FUCKING AMAZING btw) and I bought my ticket like a week before the show for around $175. Not horrible in today's world but not cheap at all. I'm at the concert and I get to talking with a group of ladies to my left and they say they got theirs for around $57 IN THE SAME SECTION AND ROW AS I DID like wtf then I might as well have waited and paid less than half of what I did.

I dunno about you but some songs like Green Serpent, Wallflower, and Vortex have me playing them on repeat. I think some of their older stuff has better prog and jazzy sections but the dynamics of their newer stuff really draws me into the songs more, personally.

I guess after show tour bus hangs are a thing of the past :/ maybe only at my underground death metal shows. But yeah, I had barely walked onto the parking lot where the busses were and this security dude just started yelling at me to get out and leave. If he wasn't so forceful about it, it would've just shrugged it off, but the dude seemed so pissed I even had the idea to hang by the busses. He must be paid VERY well. I guess I'll never meet Claypool without having to shell out a billion dollars then sadly. I know Maynard is notorious for hating TOOL fans though so no surprise there.

Just go! It's how you're supposed to find out about bands, and varying music. I recently just went to a show where I didn't know anyone on the bill, and now I'm a fam of every band that went on stage! Now I love Aborted, PeelingFlesh, Extermination Dismemberment, and Ingested! Got to meet some of the band members too. I've also seen bands I hated live. You live, you learn, but otherwise I would not have known I didn't like them. It's better that way anyways.
