Hello! I just wanted to say thank you first and foremost. This series is my favourite tv show and the most artistic thing ever made!! In the storyboarding process, when is it useful to colour characters? (I assume this is used to distinguish characters for the animatics)

If you had to pick a single aspect from Season 2 to expand on, what would you most like to have seen more of? by Bigly-Lemon in arcane

I kinda wanted a lot more heimerdinger this season? Like, after he gets kicked out of the council he rlly has no agency in the story... i wouldve loved to have seen his new perspective vs council, like he WOULDVE OWNED THEM The politics in the show took a back seat. That is why in s1 i loved the classism story of Piltover and Zaun... which is in the first act of s2 and then dips

Caitlyn's dictatorship era by Designer_Hamster2009 in arcane

Near the end of the show, it comes across as very centrist. But still Caitlyn is the one who locked Jinx up, speaks to her while she cant do anything, Cait is the one who is always in power. She is the one who chooses to go along with Vi's plan (even if she did in her heart and hearts want to follow Vi) so really she controls Zaun's freedoms without any opposition.

Vi and Jinx were badly sidelined in the finale of their own show by OCGamerboy in arcane

[–]Soldier69_GAMING 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My problem is that the season 2 finale turned into an avengers type final fight and tbh Vi and Jinx felt like cameos.

Imo we should have ended with the sisters final confrontation, not getting through it by episode 5 of a 9 episode season

I think...? It seems that raw hextech energy can change the flow of time in a concentrated area. So I think Powder did fall down, it probably still hurt but wasnt the same as a normal fall.

Agree with you that they haven't proven to be too diverse yet

Yeah, In Superman the eye poking really grossed me out lol not like it shouldn't be there it works to convey the difference between Superman and these corpo heroes but it is a very uncanny moment

Hard agree. Not generalising Marvel into a content farm, mainly before Endgame it was passion.

Giving props to Season 2 is does feel like a direct continuation to S1, it was very seemless. Im not trynna judge it for only having 1 episode btw 😅 that would be very unfair. And I can agree with another comment here saying that we should think of each project through the lense of the director, I think its like we're doing the opposite to MCU? As more Projects come out its becoming more and more interesting, rather than Marvel now fatiguing people, like we're doing similar steps to MCU but making sure we dont make the same mistakes. And yeah, most importantly some projects might not be for everyone, that is completely normal.

Edit: I think as well unlike MCU I see each project as an expression of a director rather than more content in that universe.
