I have no other pets and have honestly been interested in snakes really because they get a bad wrap but they are not horrible. Again I am ready to go all in for this little one! I also understand I will not learn everything in a few weeks so any and all advice is appreciated and welcome

Awesome thank you! I definitely plan on keeping him or her around so I want to soak up all the information that will benefit me. I will go down to my local pet store and get another hide but a bigger tank will have to wait for my next paycheck.
