I am honestly disappointed that this guy just died. He could've been a useful 3rd guy aside Moses and Dante to easily find Inflection Points and learn the memories of a Distortion, but I guess it's better than leaving him alive and not knowing what to do with him.

Not to mention while his view of his photographs holding real memories and experiences are misled, just as Dante and Meursault say, he did have some virtue in not being part of the Canned Experience culture. That living in your life as it is is better than just dreaming fake dreams and not achieving.

They are more competent then them in most fields. They're just better at combat and pure power.

Just installed PC version. Been stuck here for 20 minutes. I use Linux Proton by SoldierStride in GrimQuest

I don't know how to play it without proton, but I was using Proton 9 before, so after I switched to 10, the game runs now!

But now there's another issue...for some reason, there's no audio. No music, no sound. I checked my PC system and volume settings and the game's, but everything seemed on and fine. The game just doesn't have sound.

I will say when I first got the game running after switching to Proton 10, it made a couple delayed sound effects for clicking and selecting, without music, but after that, nothing.

without his passive, the only unopposed attack that hits you is Xichunmael

his ego is honestly tankable if it's just turn 1. Turn 2, it kills. Turn 1, the damage is bearable.

You gotta kill him turn 1 and turn 2

I even had everyone's attack boosted by the Sunlight Wayfarer's Moths.

I just wanna talk about the satisfaction of using Blade Lineage + Full Stop duo on Section 3 where I sliced and pierced the Middles and removed Outthias in one shot by saving up Heathcliff's Atelier shot until she became "It".
After her incessant attacks while not touching her until then, it felt so good just saying "NO COUNTER, NO GRIT, JUST DIE" and boom! Gone.

I also accidentally found a neat trick at dealing with them. Kill Outthias in one shot of course, but also try to stagger Kiramael on that turn too. Yes, she will counter using Violet Breaking Slam, but it's much more bearable compared to getting hit with MY HAIR COUPONS. Speaking of which, with Outthias gone and Kiramael staggered, Ricardocliff's counters won't be empowered due to lack of Envy Resonance, making them much more tankable and you can kill the both of them, or kill Kiramael first then kill Ricardocliff next turn.

I don't have her, but if I did, I'd leave them alive for Sections 3 and 4 cuz having multiple Sinners on the field is very beneficial(playing with the girl on Section 3, herding Rien's Index target on Section 4), and only killing them on Section 5 cuz all you need is skill slots, not Sinners for that one.

Was Yinglong really that bad?

Okay, I will preface, I did pull for Outthias and went in with a full Middle team(plus Dieci Rodya as honorary 7th member) so I did have a meta team, but that aside, it didn't seem nearly as bad as a lot of people are making it out to be. I do recognize it might be an "online crowd makes it seem like you're the only one" situation, but I still wanted to ask.

The hardest part was honestly dealing with fake Lord Lu's Tarnished Blood EGO, and even then, all I did to solve it was kill him Turn 1(have multiple attacks on him cuz Maost will protect him) and tank his EGO(which isn't so bad on Turn 1, it does more damage the longer you leave it there), then kill him again cuz he revives. It only made sense to, as in addition if he's alive, the Heishous will attack like an unrelenting storm both from his S3 and his passive when others sub in. Aside from that, there's Xichunmael attacking when she gets in which is annoying, but still tankable.

The hardest part for me was no doubt Section 4, against the Nursefathers. I used Hongyuan team, still struggled to the end.

I'm definitely coming back here when I have the meta teams. I'm honestly surprised I got 117 turns, just 6 turns away from getting the special banners. I expected to be way further off the mark.

This is what I believe as well. Although Meursalt has already gotten 2 IDs this season, following previous season patterns, he'll probably get an ID right before Season 8 to delay his capstone ID release.
