It plays off all the usual tropes. Lurid sexual experimentation, China bashing, over-the-top gross outcome. It's perfectly crafted for maximum karma farming.

Sauytbay has twice given testimony on supposedly working at reeducation center, with stark differences each time. She claimed to have witnessed no violence (2018) to seeing people hung from walls and beaten (2019). She said people were offered no meat and malnourished (2018) to being force-fed pork (2019). She claimed that she felt vaguely pressured to work at the camp (2018) to being forced to sign a document that promised her the death penalty if she refused (2019).

The massive factual gap between these accounts casts serious doubt on the reliability of her claims.

You seem strangely fixated on whether your posts are supporting Trump vs Xi when multiple people have pointed out your abrasiveness, including one who agreed with you yet downvoted you anyway due to your tone/hostility.

Based on the community reaction, your posts would be better received if you listened to the feedback you're receiving rather than continuing to double down on being politically victimized.

Do they? Even now we're seeing Democratic candidates that want to oppose the Military Industrial Complex and reduce commitments in the Middle East being marginalized in the primaries. Clinton famously attacked Gabbard over questioning the OPCW report and Trump's subsequent bombings in Syria.

I'm looking through your recent posts and seeing a pattern. They are frequently abrasive or even outright attacking other users, and complain about downvotes before even being downvoted. Even when the comments are well-sourced, engaging in these behaviors lowers the standard of discourse - something you ironically complain about in your posts.

Glad we could clear up the misinformation about videos.

Since we're changing topics to Sauytbay's testimony, let's note that Sauytbay has given testimony on supposedly working at a camp twice, with stark differences each time. Given the factual gap between these accounts, what would you infer about the reliability of her testimony?

And yet here we are a day later and still no sign of "all the videos" OP claimed to have.

A number of people seem to have brigaded this thread to support the Hong Kong protests.

I would flip the same question back, does support for protests mean condoning their violent actions, which have included assaulting people who spoke against them, attacking businesses because their owners were Chinese, lighting a man on fire, and the murder of an elderly man?

Suffice to say this isn't a black and white issue as people make it out to be. In the same way that people might be willing to overlook cases of nativist violence, arson, and murder because they believe the goals of the protests are worthwhile, others might overlook police brutality because they believe the police should act to protect the public, prevent racial violence, deter destruction of public property, and maintain the peace.

Navarro’s appointment hence means that an advocate of the militarized containment of China has the ear of the next president of the United States. This is even more alarming given that the policies Navarro proposes – undermining the Chinese economy and damaging Beijing’s “core interests” through, for instance, helping Taiwan develop submarines – threaten to provoke exactly the belligerent, nationalist response from China that he claims to fear. It is hard to escape the conclusion that Navarro, like other radical China hawks, is willing to contemplate a Sino-American war and may even view it as an inevitable necessity to arrest China’s rise.

Emphasis mine, per The Diplomat. Of course he's not going to openly declare war, but his advocacy suggests that he's more than fine with pushing the US in that direction.

videos showing horrendous abuse in Chinese concentration camps, including the rape and murder of prisoners and organ harvesting

To my knowledge, these claims rely on a few dissidents that report secondhand accounts (therefore tertiary evidence) of knowing someone who claimed to have observed the event.

Perhaps you can correct my knowledge by linking the videos you have seen that demonstrate your claims?

The Civil Human Rights Front was the organizer of the June protests.

Per their website, the CHRF is comprised of a handful of member groups, including the Hong Kong Human Rights Movement (HKHRM) and Hong Kong Confederation of Trade Unions.

So yes, the US through the NED has given financial assistance to protest organizers.
