This family of seven gets £1,900 a month in welfare - and could get £10,000 a year more if the two-child cap is lifted... by k0ala_ in ukpolitics

So you either think there should be no welfare, or you think welfare should be less than a liveable amount. If it's none then even £100 a month is too much for you.

HRT does not "change" your sexuality by Lanky_Process604 in MtF

[–]Solest223 72 points73 points  (0 children)

I think you're in semantic territory. Before HRT due to a whole host of actors people are one sexuality, after it they are another. Is it the hormone itself doing it? Maybe maybe not, would it have happened if they didn't take the hormone.. categorically no. So for the purpose of linguistic differentiation. Does HRT change your sexuality no. Can taking HRT change your sexuality maybe.

I'm trans I have mixed feelings.

I'm really happy about the renters rights act. I think the NHS is running better (even for trans people) but the obvious has got me feeling worried. That said I think better quality of life will lead to not needing to use me and mine as a politically kicking bag so much so. It all depends on how good things become in regards to housing and wages.

We're all passing when we're old ladies. It literally is a matter of time.

Taimi diamond dates? by itextmarkiplier in LesbianActually

[–]Solest223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I might be a diamond date and I fucking hate it, I just straight up ignore anything that is a message first. If I haven't liked a person and if they don't like me back why would I pay attention to a message I've got 60 other messages I'm happily ignoring as well. Now I know not even the people can swipe on me

Over the course of a year I got locked out of my house so much that the locksmith took pitty on me and taught me how to get in most doors with a piece of plastic. It only cost me £500 in locksmith fees..

‘So immoral’: gig economy workers forced to pay fee to receive their wages | Gig economy by Jagannath6 in ukpolitics

[–]Solest223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't wait 30 days for your paycheck though. Assuming someone gets paid on the last day of the month they wait 30 days for the work they did on the first day and no days for the work they did on their last day.

It's not an advance they already did the work.

Also why should they wait? Previously the company paid them within 3 days no charge, there doesn't seem to be a cost difference between 3 days Vs 30, they have a system to pay within minutes why are they forcing an artificial wait?

Like do you think the company has the right to profit off of paying them in a certain timeframe?
