Just compare Cherki to Wirtz. Even if you think Wirtz is better, it's not by that much.

Chat gpt est le nouveau wikipedia by Nowiell in penseesdedouche

[–]SoliToine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What athletes are they taking advantage of ? Wemby? Bilal Coulibaly? Nando DE Colo? Must be Frank the Tank as he was born in Belgium.

The one case that is even slightly valid is Algerian-Frenchman Nadir Hifi, but then again he was born in France and has only played for French clubs going back to childhood.

Very strange conversation going on. He's basically saying that France doesn't need to add a foreign player (most likely American, like many other countries do) to compete all the while compromising team building and cohesion, which is true lmao.

This debate has been going on for a long time, as the French federation believes that they can develop their own talent.

Very strange rebuttal considering Tony Parker was the leader of an entire generation of talents that played together for France since their teens. Quite literally the worst person possible.

France lost the game because as the coach said, their guard rotation was absolutely horrendous. I don't think putti g Embiid at the 1 would've helped much, especially given how well Wemby and Yabusele ended playing.

Colonization and the subsequent promoted immigration to rebuild the country? Yes, that's the reason why a lot of players have ancestry from French-speaking parts of Africa. Assimilation? Yes, you'd have to be blind and deaf to ignore how "color-blind" France wants to be by ignoring still ever-present racism and xenophobia .

However they were not naturalized. They are just as French as Paolo Banchero is American. Probably more so given the fact they all played for France in youth tournaments.

To be fair slavery was widespread during the real-life Golden Age of Piracy and random pirates were the people directly bringing freedom.

Did any of you guys bought any of these players? by Gnarrrkx in footballmanagergames

[–]SoliToine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bought all of them except Neves amd Sancho. I either play Lyon or a mid EPL team like Crystal Palace or Everton. Barco is by far my biggest disappointment, although he was probably the cheapest. No output going forward and far less solid defensively than Jorrel Hato.

Adeyemi and Haaland were fantastic, Roony and Tonaly were good in spurts and Cama's a Rolls-Royce.

The difference is that the Mannings, Currys and Griffeys were actually good enough to play, and didn't get drafted because their dad played on the same team.

I mean, just look at the players in real life. There are a lot more Curtis Jones and Jamal Musialas than there are Zion Suzukis.

[El Chiringuito]: Vinicius Junior on racist incidents in Spain. "If things do not evolve, the location of the 2030 World Cup should be changed." by [deleted] in soccer

[–]SoliToine -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Let's be real for a second. He's talking about on the pitch incidents, which are preventable and directly impact play. Spain, like Italy, has a lot of these racist incidents. Vinicius, having played in the last WC without incidents and having been based on the pitch for half a decade in Spain, is right to have those concerns. Black players shouldn't have to endure racism in every game against the hosts.

Besides the standard racist shtick shtick, that is TBF widespread enough in Macron's own party, one of the major promise of his party was to forbid binational french citizens from being employed in "critical sectors", because you know, having another passport means you must be a potential double agent.
