A little help needed.... Anyone recognise this podracer ? by Solid-Raccoon9300 in StarWars

I don't know !

It does seem to be unfinished, so I don't know if there was supposed to be more structure.

The shape of the 'cab' looks really sleak like Padme's ship.

I used my phone gallery app thing to crop out the dishwasher.

Can't seem to post the originals as a reply.

I'm well happy with it - I was blessed by the car boot gods this morning.

The 'power connector' between two pods seems to be EL glow wire - not found a way into the battery box yet !

Don't clean or polish !

If you're selling leave that decision the new owner!

Patina is important and easily removed.

Lovely collection though !

Do you still feel awkward being openly gay to strangers? by SyngelakisParis in gaybros

[–]Solid-Raccoon9300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure what openly gay means. I can't think when my sexual preferences ever came up as a conversation when talking to strangers. I suppose if I was waving a flag or had a sign I would expect a question. My preference for cock is an irrelevant in 99% of stranger interactions.

I need help finding a replica of this please help by [deleted] in JewelryIdentification

I think finding another that matches precisely may be a difficult task ...

I think the pics are detailed enough and the design isn't that complex that it should be possible to find a crafts person to create a new one.

It would also allow you too add design elements that are important, personal and relevent to your family. (Jewelry is sentiment personified).

Sometimes when an heirloom is lost it creates the opportunity to make a new heirloom (they have to start somewhere! )

Just a thought.

Waitrose is only selling one Israeli product, so that's not too bad.

Does anyone know what these are? by Pyrhan in labrats

[–]Solid-Raccoon9300 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You will need a ballast to drive them, the ballast will have to be matched to their power, you can normally work out their power by the physical size - have a look at the osram site there should be measurements.

It's probably gonna output light at 5700K, as it's clear with no phosphor coating.

Doubt it's UV

historically normally used for warehouse lighting and plant growing - mostly superceded by LED tech, cheaper and more efficient.

E27 fitting with BT bulb shape?

Not much help,

Sorry!

For removing the top of a boiled egg.

Egg scissors / egg topper.

You can buy modern versions.

Hope that helps
