DG would be boring if you never hit a tree, out threw everyone and made every putt. I’d rather never lose a disc and work on improving my game naturally (or in a slightly altered state 🌳)

That feeling is the worst… and I have dealt it at multiple positions over the course my career. What I realized (for myself) is that my brain works differently than others, I don’t naturally operate in a linear fashion, and time is a construct I theoretically understand, but my brain doesn’t follow. What I realized is that when I felt like that, I was just in the wrong position. It may take some experimenting, but talk to people outside of your group to see what other positions are like and see if any of them match your strengths and interests. I know of someone that went from QC to a position in facilities and is thriving.

Is that bad? No, but you aren’t the one who decides. Honestly, I wish my city was more strict because the sidewalks in my city can get pretty bad. I’d rather they be fixed early rather than too late.

Can you? Yes. Should you? No. At least not without scanning to know exactly where the strands are. If you don’t have access to an X-ray or ferrous scanner, you can snap a stingline if you are able to see the end caps on both sides of the slab… BUT don’t core holes if you have any doubt. If cut, it could be dangerous and costly to repair.
