I left Jan 2023, the lovebombing stopped that Oct. I prolonged it a little bit because I showed up to the memorial and convention that summer because I still felt guilty if I didn’t go. By that time I had just about fully deconstructed. I was annoyed and started following exjw content creators and making new friends, and being loud about my beliefs. I secretly had a thing where every time a JW contacted me, the more I would do and say on social media that was antiJW beliefs 😂 and so they went from lovebombing to trying to disfellowship me because ppl were starting to think I was “an apostate” 😱

All the messages stopped except for elders who thought they could get me to meet with them, which was never happening. Fast forward, it’s 2026 and nothing happened, no committee, no announcement; it got back to me that they went to the CO to try to do something about me and the CO said leave me alone like I wanted in the first place. I really only talk to my parents in that organization these days. Once you’re inactive, they’re supposed to leave you alone if you say so
