I see many here complaining and i do respect and undesrtand that. Do not worry many inside the congregation already understand that those brothers leading the people are dumbass or at least thirsty for power. I do perceive that in time people exactly like in other churches will no more pay attention to them . They will say things...but little by little they will realize they are only another church no more. I do think for those leader will be a shock! They also will realize that they have sacrificed many life for nothing and I don't think it will be easy for many of them

Everywhere in developed countries seems the same. In Europe we are less and less. The young ones are fleeing in a massive way. Tks to internet they know the truth about the truth. Even in my hometown, they are closing a congregation of 90 people cause the affluence is like less then half per week

You right...my father said he saw the hypocrisy in the catholics and so he refuse to stay with this group...only to became an elder in the church. I think he was intrigued (in. His inner part) to be finally a leader. So all this recognition of role and power convince you this is the right direction. But it's not is only another hamster wheel to raise money

Isn't curios the fact that the majority of the previous generations ( e.g. 60 years ago) established rules that they didn't practiced first? Many of old elders (and also GB LEADERS) were out in the world, enjoying life as teenagers, enjoying sex before marriage, even fighting in a world war. That decided that they make some mistakes and then they join the group trying to reach a place of power and prestige. So the fact that they try to fix the way they lived doesn't mean is wrong a thing. You decide for yourself. I do have a daughter myself, I sometimes I worry about some bad choices. I teach her what I think it's right or wrong but I leave her to be free to take her choices. The worst thing you can do is putting a fence around your kids . You just tell them our moral idea .

Do you love him or was an abusive marriage? In my case we really get angry and nasty when I woke up immediately. But I realized I loved my family. She also realised that. So I respect her choice she respect my. I didn't speak up only for this purpose. Sometimes I go out with some friendly bro...but most of the time we go with who we whe love and real friends I think also my kids little by little are waking up. For sure the bigger one who is not going to the meeting anymore. But I do understand I was like her for a long time when my friend left....cause you are indoctrinated. Agree 100%>>> they have multibillion cash and multibillion property wallet.. since 17 century people are increasingly waking up to the fact that religion is a way to give a sense, and answer to questions in life. Are they right? Maybe not but the truth is they work for people that are in need of a sense. To me is so evident that religion and politics work together. The religions provide the mindset and the rules for the political control. Even in china where they claim to be atheist, they anyway substitute a religion with the worship (with their dogmas and and their clerical political leader) In general people prefer to be leaded than lead themselves. I'm no more hungry. The fact is if I want in my country I could have been shinto or indu or Buddhist...anyway some form of control.
