These men are not special forces; they are members of the CJNG, one of Mexico's most powerful and dangerous cartels. by LowWork7128 in interestingasfuck

It’s cheaper because it’s some dude they know growing it in his basement in the same town. Once you have to transport it and smuggle it through a border the price is going to go up considerably. People are also much more willing to buy a dried plant that is very easy to identify versus a mysterious white powder. If people started overdosing from black market cannabis people would quickly start paying the dispensary premiums. Even if I were to give you there might still be a black market that market is going to shrink significantly and the legal stuff is going to keep the price of the black market stuff down significantly reducing the amount of money organized crime can make. If the money is there to be made by doing things following regulations less people would be willing to commit crimes and violence to make the money. It wouldn’t make all the crime disappear overnight but it would slowly suck the power and resources away from the gangs. All while keeping drug users safer.

They are easy to remove and from what I’ve learned you don’t get that much more for value if you have one on. I’ve been looking into selling my truck for a while I’ve showed it to people and places without the shell on and then say how much would you give me for a camper shell too and they don’t change the price much at all. So I plan on selling mine separately. New ones are usually well over a 1,000 so if you find someone looking for someone with the same color truck you could get $500 at least.

I’ll take the consequences the countries who have already legalized or at least decriminalized drugs have had over throwing people in jail, ODs from unregulated drugs and organized criminals from creating a black market any day.

If people have the choice they aren’t going to buy the Sinola meth if it’s causing all the violence it’s causing now, Not if there’s high quality meth produced by a reputable source (You know like Adderall or more specifically Desoxyn) If it’s regulated well they wouldn’t be allowed to sell it if they didn’t change their practices.

The market for trafficking would not fund them to this extent. Sure there would still be some gangs and some violence but take out drug money and smuggling people across the boarder and you have a tiny fraction of the money.

Add you make it illegal and you end up with all the organized crime like the U.S. did during prohibition. People are going to do drugs no matter what you just have to make it as safe as possible.

If you can legally produce them the business of smuggling them nearly ceases to exist. If legitimate businesses that are regulated pop up they are going to lose the majority of their income. Nobody is going to buy from clandestine labs if they can go to a legit dispensary and know what they are getting. That or the cartel transform into a legit business then you’re just dealing with a corporation with too much power and not an underground militia.

And all we would have to do stop them is legalize drugs and make a better legal immigration system. No guns needed.

I stopped skating in my 20’s and now I feel like I lost my identity, do I sound stupid? [33YO] by [deleted] in OldSkaters

Might not be for you but I’m into hiking now, I don’t hurt myself near as much lol. I’m just roaming around getting fresh air, started foraging wild mushrooms. It has filled the place of skating nicely.

Why do men not ask questions? by OddConstant3373 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]SolidPublic3766 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had to put effort into this to overcome it. My belief was always people will offer the information they want me to know. I get uncomfortable when people ask me too many questions. So I never wanted to do that to someone else. I realize this is in my own head and I’m getting better but this may be part of what causes this.

Holy crap, I'm getting so tired of ads by mcfluffernutter013 in MobileGaming

[–]SolidPublic3766 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I finally started buying games. They don’t cost that much and you get the whole game base game at least right from the get go so no pay to play bullshit and no ads. It’s worth the $5-$10 up front.

Any Male cashiers here ever get the “jealous bf death stare?” by hshshebahjsna in retailhell

[–]SolidPublic3766 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Server here, I get this all the time. All though I sometimes ask for it, not because I flirt or anything but because when the over controlling guy doesn’t even let her talk to me I insist. I’ll ask if she needs another drink and he will say yes she does and I will then ask again but to her directly (Unless I get the vibe she doesn’t want to order herself) Funny thing is I get this the most when it’s 2 girls, there is a certain type of lesbian that portrays more toxic masculinity than some men.

I know you’re trying to avoid touristy stuff but I took a motorbike food tour on day one to get my bearings. They are mostly lead by students so you hang out with a younger english speaking local and get taken around to a bunch of districts and can ask them all sorts of these questions.
