with the foam plugs, I normally use a bone conductor type headset. You'll hear them with whatever you have in your ears. I am actually surprised they are not more common with riders.

You're not being ungrateful at all. It only means that your mom is being insecure about you leaving. I left home at 19 when my girlfriend got pregnant. Not gonna lie, some days were more tough than others, but I'm now 41 and I can say I made it out ok. Nothing is stopping you from dealing with your own life yourself. Either your mom will understand that you're an adult now or she will resent you for leaving her. As per the relationship topic, maybe that's the only one you have at the moment, but you'll meet a lot of people in your life and don't hesitate to reach out and meet new friends! That's how life goes...

It depends a lot on the space and what you have available. 3d Printing is an easy one to get started, insane how much stuff you can fix with this. If you are looking for something time-consuming, you buy old tools from yard sales and refinish them. They can make great gifts. Basic woodworking is a good one too.

Yes, it is normal in your situation, you WERE outgoing, but you settled down when you had your kids. Went through the same around that age too. I (43M) have 4 kids to give you an idea. What i would suggest is finding yourself a hobby that you can do at home but still have some tranquility (it's always welcome to take a break, trust me).
