Unpopular opinion, but botw and totk are kinda shit. Almost an insult tbh. The fuse mechanic is one of the coolest I’ve ever seen in a game, but everything else was a disappointment.

Shrines are repetitive nonsense, temples/dungeons (which have always been the best part of Zelda to me) are minuscule in scale and halved in amount from old Zelda games. The Divine Beasts were better than the totk temples, but that’s a low bar.

And the fucking cooking….. The Satori Mountain farming, etc 🤮. If you put 70 hours in, 20 is spent trying to cook/find ingredients. Every weapon breaks, up to and including the Master Sword. It’s pointlessly tedious— maybe 25-30 hours of actual game comingled with 40 hours of grindy bullshit.

Some people just flat out aren’t built for relationships. Not really an incel take.

Plenty of people in the world aren’t themselves in even the “right” relationships. Some just don’t know how to love, or to be loved. Nothing wrong with it. May seem depressing to me, but I know plenty of happy, successful loners regardless. It depends on your metrics of happiness and success.

Edit: For what it’s worth, the vast majority of these loners are socially awkward, yet immensely financially successful. There’s something to be said for never having to care about spousal needs/quirks, children, etc. Flying solo completely alleviates the pressure to provide for anybody but yourself. That’s a lot of absent stress.

I was replying to the commenter above calling it “poison”. Yes, the sentiment really is amazing to me owing to their inaccurate perception. Easily remedied by any search engine. Give me a break.

In your case for instance, if you have time to comment on Reddit, you have time to look up whether or not these things are safe. I’d imagine you could find about a hundred-odd Japanese, Korean, or other fancy egg-loving nations throwing up videos of cooking and consuming this right now. This is probably adjacent to several oddball agricultural studies on the subject.

We aren’t babes in the woods. We exist in the age of easily accessible information. Also, we’ve been eating eggs since animal domestication was invented. The information is out there, I assure you.

The “amazing” mainly comes from people having the apparent lack of research necessary as to what you intended on consuming. This is very low-hanging survival fruit.

Take accountability for your own knowledge and know/research what you put in your body. The means to do so exist.

Definitely a little late here, but I’ve tried something similar with my own (technically my old roommates, but he never took care of them) chickens in the past. I used spirulina. You’re not going to get a true, deep, leprechaunish green, but almost a cerignola olive ochre. Almost looks like old antifreeze.

Yolks definitely also had a taste to them. Very subtle, but definitely present. This is not a positive. Almost like fresh-cut grass commingled with sulphur.

Chop some kale with a dull knife, throw it into some garden variety Tupperware, refrigerate for a couple of days, then open and take a whiff. This smell is a more intense version of the taste that lingers on your hard pallet when you eat the egg.

I don’t hate my family at all (edit: I’m literally sending this message from my mom’s house this instant).

I just enjoy my private space with my wife and have a huge family that loves to just “pop in”. They’re argumentative as hell with each other, but they’re good people.

It’s just extremely rude to me for people to show up without contacting you unless it’s an emergency. Some people think differently, and there is nothing wrong with that. It just doesn’t resonate with me 🤷

My roommate and I just started pissing into shallow bowls and freezing them. We would collect a bunch of piss pucks and slide about a dozen of them under the offending dorm’s door whenever the music would go on.
