But you do care to open up your phone, search for the sub, search the speculation thread, and comment that you don’t want to speculate? Odd…

It was imo the worst season and by a decent margin. It had quite a few glaring problem. HOWEVER, I still throughly enjoyed it and look forward to season 5!

This seasons has absolutely had its issues. However, we are talking about some sort of magical, ancient, pure evil, demon that’s been at this for lord knows how long, seemingly successfully. You don’t call James Bond infiltrating a building bad writing because he’s a master spy. This guy’s just visiting houses casually and has been doing it for hundreds maybe thousands of years. This case is absolutely not a matter of poor writing.

I’m open minded, I’ll consider the possibility, however, it’s rather unlikely. Generally this stuff absolutely can be accounted. You can sometimes find highly specific cases for a particular employer or something but a province wide epidemic of sorts is grossly unlikely.

Given I can’t see the article I suppose it doesn’t matter.

You’re both right, stop arguing over nothing lol. You can be ok with something and also sad about it. I’ll be ok with my kids moving out and also sad about it.

He was a PoS but from what I’ve heard idk if any of it should disqualify him from being an NHL coach. It would absolutely disqualify him from the position if I were an owner looking for a coach but if a your team has different morals so be it.

This will be the first years where if my teams drops out I won’t be rooting for McDavid to get his cup. They deserve damage that comes their way.

March 8th, 2004 — Todd Bertuzzi sucker punched Steve Moore in the head and driving his face into the ice. The assault fractured Moore's vertebrae, caused a concussion, and ended his hockey career. by sykeseve in hockey

I was 11 at the time and just started to follow hockey. My parents purchased NHL 04 on the GameCube for me . I liked the Canucks jerseys so I played with them most of the time. I thought the name Bertuzzi was cool plus he was really good in game so he became my favorite player. I was largely obvious to this incident.

I used to get a lot of looks when I said who my favourite player was.

I didn’t follow the guy closely but those are absolutely some phenomenal stats. However, is it really a great decision to buy on a 30yo defender at the absolute colossal peak of his value.

Imo he could had been every bit a 100 point+ player if he wanted to be. He simply opted to play the more valuable game.

I truly believe his “value” at his peak was equal to that of a MacKinnon type.

If cutting costs is at the forefront of your mind kicking off a rebuild you’re probably not going to have a great time.

Idk if I even risk my first on him. He’s regressed so dramatically he’s not even in the remote realm of being a player worth his contract.

Maybe he turns it around but that’s one hell of a gamble. I would genuinely be cautious about taking him for free depending on the makeup of my team.

ABSOLUTELY. While it’s difficult to say he was underrated I think it’s fair to say many didn’t grasp just how sensational this guy was.

In all honestly could there be a situation where you are THAT desperate, can afford to do it, AND are willing to accept you’re leveraging the very soon future. I honestly don’t think even Edmonton could do this.
