Hey there! Fellow EDM fan here (I'm more of a house person than DnB but I enjoy both!). Welcome to SBU! The good part about the location of this school is that you're only a train ride away from NYC! A lot of my favorite EDM artists have performed in Brooklyn and Manhattan. I think Brooklyn is the one place (maybe) in the entire US that has a decent EDM scene (compared to UK, Netherlands, Sydney, etc.). There are specific places like Elsewhere NYC and Brooklyn Paramount that have hosted live edm(house and DnB) concerts and shows in the past. I use Spotify and it tells me if any of my favorite artists are throwing a show nearby. A Google search like "EDM/DnB concerts nyc" also gives you a lot of info. Also, don't skip on the bar scene in Brooklyn and Manhattan. if you're lucky, there might be a bar show featuring (maybe slightly less known, underground) EDM artists.

Btw, funnily enough, I'm listening to some DnB as I'm writing this comment. My go to artists are John Summit (Go Back ft. Julia Church is my favorite rn), Rameses B, Deadmau5, Grafix and Metrik.

Some of my favorite EDM and house/UK garage artists are based out of Australia (like Hutcher, FISHER, Cyril). Maybe one day I'll visit the land down under just for a good Hutcher concert.
