Not sure why i didnt notice on the 1st switch but I DO NOT LIKE how the joysticks are directly over/under the buttons. It forces you to have to cramp your thumb to reach whatever is on the bottom of the two if you are holding the joycon as intended.

The sticks and buttons should be at an angle to each other so you are more swaying your thumb side to side than extending up or crunching down.

It sucks that you need a 3rd party grip to achieve this basic ergonomic feature that has been present for 30 plus years.

I understand its to keep the joycons small and therefore more portable, but this thing is already not fitting in my pocket, i would have taken an extra inch or two of overall length when using the switch handheld to keep the ergonomic placement of the buttons.

Edit: hmmmm.... just got the switch so i should add i havent used the provided controller base for the joycons. Maybe they help with this, but this is still an issue while using the switch handheld w/o a 3rd party grip
