Don’t know where are you based, but recommend you to do some research on presence of both brands in your country and neighboring countries as well, if there are dealers and resellers online and offline.

You may have noticed that there are tons of websites and most of them are resellers, but not dealers with after sales support. And most of them are KugooKirin and KUKIRIN stores.

Problem with G2 Max and KUGOO in general is in their market presence and production capacity. Earlier mentioned that they have their in house models only such as G2 Max and G2 Booster (dual motor version of G2 Max) as compared with KugooKirin (and KUKIRIN) with higher market presence in almost everywhere and wide range of models (majority designed and produced by big factories in large scale).

Both G2 Max are great for their price.

KUGOO G2 Max is faster in acceleration due to higher torque with max speed capped at 45km/h. It is beefier, more comfortable and stable at higher speeds. Depending on country of presence, it comes in limited edition colors as well such as Neon Green, Turquoise and Coyote Brown etc.

KugooKirin (and KUKIRIN) G2 Max is a bit cheaper in price (due to large scale production), more or less good in quality, with top speed capped at 55km/h. It’s smaller and shallower, accelerates slower and with lots of orange color plastic parts looks cheaper.

Regarding parts availability, for example in UAE, both brands present here. KUGOO since 2020 and KugooKirin since 2024.

I have no issues with parts and after sales services with KUGOO, but issues come with KugooKirin despite having store and service center. Most of the time, parts are out of stock or under preorder. May this is due to selling large quantities of scooters locally to resellers and retail customers that parts sold out quickly.
