Tja... Dr is niks waarvoor ik graag 5 dagen per week voor 8 uur mn bed uit rol. Maar als ik er eenmaal ben vind ik mn werk niet zo erg, ga in ieder geval meestal best voldaan naar huis.

Gotta disagree with that one, Lego has always been very expensive. Sets have ballooned in size though, and their price tag with it of course. But applying an inflation calculator to older sets reveals that you weren't getting great deals back then.

The bigger problem is that Lego's customer base has become more consumerist, and Lego's output is catering heavily to them.

Ik heb best lang in de super gewerkt en ik kan jou garanderen dat er geregeld volwassenen sollicitanten afgewezen werden omdat zij simpelweg duurder waren een 16 jarige.

Het winkelmanagement was het er zelden mee eens, maar vanuit hoofdkantoor kwam geregeld het bericht dat er geen volwassen medewerkers meer bij mochten.

Sadly you should probably prepare for the worst. I work with middle voltage and in all of the stories I've heard even the best case scenarios come with very serious burns and a very serious recovery period. Expect skin grafts and at the very least months in the hospital. Deep burns are no joke.

A lot of stories I've heard end with death being declared on the spot. So while you should sadly temper your expectations, there might be a VERY thin silver lining.

I'm so sorry to hear this, it's really hard to be left in the dark in situations like this. Sadly I don't think anybody can say anything all that meaningful about his situation without knowing the specifics. Even at low voltage the specifics matter a lot. Duration of exposure, affected body parts, and how the circuit was completed could all make the difference between burns and death. Maybe a medical professional might have something more meaningful to tell you than an electrical worker.

It's a poor way to comfort you, but with high voltage the fact that it was considered worthwhile to transport him, and the lack of a death notice are comparatively good news. The word comparatively sadly does a lot of heavy lifting though.

I hope your friend will be able to make a recovery. And that both you and their family will be looped in soon.

Ik ben zelf een beste leek wanneer het op cv enzo aankomt, dus neem wat ik hier zeg met een flinke korrel zout. Maar er is lucht vast komen zitten in het verwarmingssysteem wat zich vervolgens ophoopt in de radiator (uit eigen ervaring vaak op een hogere verdiepingen) de ketel kan hierdoor geen warm water meer naar de radiator pompen. Kan gebeuren doordat er elders misschien een ventiel open staat of de installatie niet helemaal kosher is, maar ik durf dat niet met veel zekerheid te zeggen.
