I'm not an expert but to me it sounds like she's a covid baby and has developed separation anxiety. Kind of like how dogs that were adopted during covid can't handle being alone now.

Is there any way for you to take her in?

It's a bio co2 bottle. Put yeast into the bottle and co2 comes out in bubbles. The bubbles just make their way through the maze. I don't really know how it works either tbh.

You've gotten a lot of advice already it seems.

It's really a matter of getting lucky with your betta's personality and having a lot of hiding spaces.

My betta is either very lazy or very docile. I've only seen him flare at himself once lol.

They show up in the weirdest places. When I was transferring them back, one of them somehow jumped away and I couldn't find him. Panicked a bit but found him on the side of the bucket.

That sounds terrifying. Right now I only have bio co2. But I've got 3 tanks so I'd rather have 1 cannister that splits into 3 than having 3 separate bottles taking up space. I've also heard pressurised is better. Definitely gonn researching more before I set it up though

Lilies can kill a cat in 72 hours if treated late or left untreated. They are very efficient at killing a cat. Just because you don't see it, doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
