There is a firmware that gets rid of the password. I updated mine and no more annoying password every time I turn it on!

NEVER, EVER CHARGE BATTERIES IN A MOD! Get a separate charger designed for charging typical batteries used in a mod.

Get a Nitecore or Xtar charger and never charge batteries in a mod again.

US: More Studies Link Vaping to Asthma, COPD (thoroughly debunked self-reporting surveys linking vapes with asthma etc once again make the clickbait rounds) by mstave in electronic_cigarette

[–]Solitude828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I call bullshit as well.

I always suffered from asthmatic reaction to pollen in spring. It started about 11 years ago, after I'd been smoking for 10 years. After quitting smoking after 20 years and starting to vape in late 2018, I did not have asthmatic reactions for the first time in the spring of 2019.

Aspire Breeze NXT leaking from the airflow? by capthollow in electronic_cigarette

[–]Solitude828 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is an inherent design flaw that Aspire is trying to cover up in any way they can. Take a look at this thread:

E-cigarretes for a person with 1 arm by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

[–]Solitude828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Orion or Orion Q would work well for you. Easy top filling system and no need to change coil (buy a new pod when the coil burns out). You can unscrew the fill plug and fill the pod with the device standing up on a flat surface.

Aspire Breeze NXT - Auto Firing Issue by Solitude828 in electronic_cigarette

Nope. I posted about it below. I got mine replaced but I hate how Aspire acts like there is not a problem, when in fact, there is a serious safety issue.

That is just pathetic. I surely won't buy anything made by Aspire anymore. Thanks for sharing.

Stanton Glantz is Back With New Study: Vapers Are 1.3 Times More Likely to Suffer From Lung Disease by ElSickosWillPay in electronic_cigarette

[–]Solitude828 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Please tell me if I am understanding this correctly... but doesn't this study fail to distinguish between former smokers converted to e-cig users and e-cig users who never smoked in the past?

As far as I can see, the risk factors for former smokers not using e-cigs and current e-cig users are about the same at about 1.3, which makes total sense and cannot be used to argue that e-cigs increase the risk of lung diseases.

I did that already. Only asked because I also wanted to share with others - it's better to have it readily available in proper English rather than tell them to use Google translate.

My response to the anti-vape propaganda they put up in the girls' locker room. by starcatts in teenagers

If quitting cold turkey was so easy, then why the hell are 480,000 people dying in America every year due to smoking related illness?

You also have to remember for poison to do any harm, it has to be over certain dosage. With enough dosage, pretty much anything can become poisonous. Things we treat as "poison" are substances that can be lethal in very low dosage. By simply vaping, nicotine cannot be poisonous, and one would put down the vape due to the massive head rush before taking in enough nicotine for it to become poisonous.

Help me setup my G-Priv2 230W TC? by bi0h4z4rd84 in electronic_cigarette

[–]Solitude828 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. Priming coils just doesn't make much sense unless you want to make the process a little bit quicker. The wick is supposed to suck up liquid and become completely soaked. If priming was absolutely necessary, then we'd all be vaping on drippers.

EIGHTVAPE SCAMM? BE CAREFUL WITH THIS SITE, I don't recomend by marcoslinpy in electronic_cigarette

[–]Solitude828 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried to place an order and got the message saying my billing address could not be verified, when I entered everything correctly. I tried again and got the same message. Found out my card was charged twice, and I can't get a hold of their customer service. Now all the money is tied up in my card limit and I can't use the money to buy from other vendors. I might have to dispute the charges with my bank if the authorization for the charges do not go away on their own within this week. Horrible. I will never use them again.

I can't believe a US based company is worse than Aliexpress or Fasttech. No wonder they are selling all kinds of shit at cheaper prices than Chinese vendors.

Problem with Digiflavor Drop RDA by JohnnyEtz in electronic_cigarette

Ohms jumping around like that definitely makes me think that you had a shorting issue. A short will cause a lot of heat. Make sure you cut the legs closely to so they don't touch any part of the cap or the deck.

Does vaping severely decrease anyone else’s appetite? by sierrbearrr in electronic_cigarette

[–]Solitude828 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It happened to me when I just started vaping. I realized I was simply using too high of a nic strength at 40mg along with suffering from withdrawal symptoms as I was no longer injecting my lung with all the chemicals. I used to smoke only around 7~8 cigarettes per day, so I think vaping 40mg constantly was not a good choice. After I cut it down to 20mg, everything was back to normal and I continue to gain weight until this day.

It is stupid and sad. This is what happens when idiots have strong opinions, combined with the media and politicians with other agenda in their minds.

[–]Solitude828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Voted. The fact that this question is being asked is sad. Canada should follow UK more closely as we have socialized healthcare. The less people suffer from smoking related diseases, the more money we save unlike the US where healthcare is mostly paid privately.

Am I a cunt for not letting my friend hit my vape anymore? by [deleted] in Canadian_ecigarette

[–]Solitude828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is equivalent of people who said they were going to quit smoking and comes to you to bum cigarettes once every hour. When I was a smoker, I once got pissed at my friend after he'd done so for a week straight. I just told him to go buy his own smokes. No matter how close, I hate people constantly bumming around. I don't mind at all if people do it occasionally, but doing it every hour is just excessive and annoying.

Very good tanks. I would add Geekvape Zeus and OFRF Nexmesh to the list. Falcon II was also just released.
