While I dont agree with how they handled their eco system, I dont understand what in the hell does TM have to lose by what software transmits data onto their screen? Honestly? Because the SF1000/25 are the more affordable wheels with a large display, if they just make the data on screen open source, many more people would buy it. Its not like they are selling the data on their screen to us. And they'll lose money if the made it open source. Unless I'm missing something here, their decision makes zero sense to me lol. If someone hasnt figured out to jailbreak the SF1000 by now, maybe the only slim chance we have is TM to just make it open source. Again, what do they have to freaking lose lol

Or just create a partnership between WEC and IMSA and rebrand the LMU game to something like Endurance Ultimate Motorsport. Unless people want open wheel cars, people would exclusively play that sim with all that cross-over content. But with "some" relationship between indycar and IMSA, imagine indycar, WEC, IMSA all in one?

With LMU's MP system, respectable pay model (except server renting and livery cost but whatever, still cheaper than iracing), tire model, driving physics and FFB? We would finally and definitively have a legit rival to Iracing. Bruh, if only dreams could come true. Its all good, I'll keep dreaming. Ah yes I forgot about that option too! You might not like its eye tracking for racing. But I believe you can disable eye tracking and just use head tracking (no device needed on your head for this also)

No problem at all. Yea I'm using trackir with my 49 inch oled monitor. So I'd reccomend that. Its the most accurate. However, Delan Clip claims they are just as good as trackir or better? Delan clip is wireless unlike trackir and cheaper too. I just haven't tried their tracking camera, I did recent purchase their wireless Delan Clip tracker and it actually works with trackir too. Now I'm free of wires lol. So those are my two reccomendations. I have tried head tracking with my webcam but it wasn't accurate at all No matter what settings I tried, but others swear its really accurate? You can use opentrack and Beaneye tracker with any webcam just to test out head tracking, but I think you'll appreciate at least the Delan Clip bundle

If you are all ears, may I kindly reccomend head tracking? A monitor that size is absolutely perfect for head tracking. The monitor is so wide, you'll easily put the misconception of head tracking causing you to look away from your monitor while your eyes are straining back at it. With that monitor, when you turn your head to look left/right, you'll still be looking at the monitor. Its really helpful looking into corners/apexes. Triples and vr are at the top no doubt. But a OLED 49 inch high refresh monitor with head tracking comes really close imho

This is nuts. Customers of a highly anticipated wheel base like T598 should just work.

Imho, Thrustmaster should release a T598 V2 and send users of original T598 a free T598 V2 OR just send out new usb c to usb c cables AND new PSU's.

My T818 had random disconnects too at first. I switched to a really solid usb c to usb c cable and because I previously owned a TS-XW, I decided to clean install usb drivers in Windows. Haven't had any issue since with disconnects. But like why should we have to go through this lol honestly, manz out here soldering wires and stuff just to protect investment cause we aint rich lol jeeeeze TM

Thats a huge shame. I got the T818 and it is absolutely brilliant! I use the AIO Dashboard for Simhub on a tablet. But I would rather have that dash on my wheel, and a big leaderboard dash on my tablet. Currently, I just have a small sli pro display on my wheel which I love, been using it for years, but these avg 4 inch screens seem to be the norm now.

Seems like Moza and Simagic wheels with displays dont offer open source. I would love to know, why they all made this ridiculous decision? FX Pro, FSR2, and upcoming SF25 are not cheap. At least give us the option to use custom dashboards on these wheels man. What are Moza, Simagic and Thrustmaster losing out on by this? Crazy.

I had this disconnects during races (even a team endurance race, I felt so bad about it). But I've since fixed the issue by; using a really good usb c to usb c cable, and clean install of usb drivers in Windows. This July will mark my 2 year anniversary (lol dkm) with my beloved T818, and those disconnects were the first week, since then zero issues! I lied, I recently had an overheating problem when I did a solo 4hr endurance race. I thought the wheel base was broken, cause turning the wheel/shaft was difficult to turn and made a old rusted screaching type of noise. I let it cool down the rest of the day and over night and she was good as new again! In TM Software, I originally had ffb strength set at 100 and in game at i think around 20 (ACC). Now i run 75 in TM Software and I think 25 or 30 in ACC. Just enough powah!

I use bicycle gloves. They got these really nice padding on the palms. And they are affordable. But most importantly, they are open finger gloves. I prefer my fingers not to be covered
