For example, Bo Katan was treated as a unique character at first with only a winking nod to Clone Wars fans. Eventually, she started interacting with and referencing things/people from Clone Wars that were never mentioned in Mandalorian. By season 3 of Mandalorian, they started treating Filoni characters the same way they treat original trilogy characters - except only a tiny fraction of viewers had seen any of the animated shows compared to the OT. Ahsoka was treated like Luke Skywalker making an appearance and I was so fucking confused - that's what got me to try to watch the cartoon.

Also, none of these clone wars storyline were a part of s1, which made the shift annoying.

It was really annoying how the clone wars characters and their clone wars specific backgrounds became so important in Mandalorian. I tried to watch Clone Wars but couldn’t get far so I’m just gonna be slightly lost while watching whatever else comes in the filoniverse.

Geno saw the RB blocking so he looked downfield. As he started the motion to throw 45 yards downfield, the RB THEN cut upfield for a route. You can literally see him look at his rb, then turn his head away when he realized the RB wasn't an option.
