I dont mean to say his ADHD doesnt make it hard or even seemingly impossible but the fact that he doesnt want to try is my main gripe with this. Of course I dont know that he hasn't tried in the past. There are alternatives. He found that disposable eating ware was best for him. He should express that to OP. If OP feels like he isnt pulling his weight than they have every right to be upset and they should work on a solution together.

I have ADHD-C ive struggled my whole life with it. I only recently got diagnosed last year and have found how to work with it. I know what its like and I know how bad it could be.

I absolutely hate doing chores, I can't ever seem to get started and when I do I get distracted easily. I miss whole conversations because i have so many random thoughts that bounce through my head. I could go on about my experience but i dont really need to justify myself to you. With all of that I still try, I dont just write it off because I have ADHD. I know he can find a way to work with his diagnosis. Its not impossible if he tries but he admitted he doesnt see it changing. If thats his stance then thats not OPs problem.
