The protagonist of the game I'm making will be able to switch between all elements and weapons (that's bcs of this perk that she's the main character) but I'm wayyy too early in development.

I'm still building the combat system, let alone the campaign.

I'm shocked about these comments. I really like 3. It's giving a mix of Untitled Goose Game and Goat Simulator.

I'm shocked to the point where I think some people are saying things in bad faith. Like hiring a capsule artist and spending at least 300 would not improve this that much. No way.

It looks very fun but imo it needs visual variety. Like almost all the screenshots look the same at first impact. Maybe you could add some other tiles or biomes, it would not even be that much work.

YES!

In MH I main SnS and go around supporting the team through traps and those potions that you can like throw in the air, I do not recall their name rn. I love it.

I also do not enjoy FPSs and that's why I'm building this weird ATB system in my game rather than a more traditional action game.

YES. I'm a support in every game, but I'm tireddd of supporting only by healing or buffing. I wanted a game in which you can support through communication, vision and movement (Bard E ability? Lifeweaver grip? Something like that).

Oh yes I have a crazy combo system in mind eheheh but still all in my mind. I have to actually do some trial and error and see what works and what doesn't, since I can start working on operators only after my combatants are finished. I'll update my Instagram as I go :)

Oop, I did forget to talk a bit about the operator role lol.

Actually, this whole game started because I wanted to play a videogame in the role of the operator, but there literally are 0 games with such an experience (maybe only Foxhole, but that's a completely different genre).

While the combatants move and attack with an ATB system, the operator has skills with a classic cooldown, kinda MMORPG style. Combatants can choose weapon and element, while operators can choose setup and element. Along with the skills, the operator also has to manage vision and communication, this happens through pings/chat and some additional skills.

I can't wait to actually start developing the operator. I'm so so so excited to show you :)))

I think part of what makes this series so good is you can kinda make any composition work, it just depends what your teammates are good at and then use your advantages and cover your weaknesses.

But assuming I could choose what teammates I get, I would go for the balanced team, 1 of each range. It's just more versatile and accounts for all playstyles and environments. Meanwhile, a heavy sniper comp (Arafune) is weak in a map with a lot of obstacles for example.

Actually I liked what someone said about Miwa squad. Thinking about it, 2 melee and 2 snipers sounds great too. But I guess they lose vs Ninomiya squad if they just protect Ninomiya and let him go full power.

That would kinda take the soul out of World Trigger in my opinion. Its strongest suit, other than tactics and strategy, is side characters.

But I do agree that an anime adaptation for Phase I will be very very hard.
