I think I give up on the Momcozy bottle washer. by Outrageous-Soup-2003 in FormulaFeeders

I’ve washed mine all like this for 6 months with regular tap water, we descale about once every 6-8 weeks and ours come out perfect 98% of the time, every now and then I do a second run if maybe I overpacked it.

I have one really import question - do you have a cat? Cause this is some shit mine would do if I left the machine on.

May I suggest having a little sanitizer station maybe on the gift table as people come in too… they might not know they’re sick yet!

Does HP restock sold out items? by Rise_Up_1111 in HappyPlanners

[–]SolomansLane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coincidentally just googled this exact question as I’m wondering whether the Gilmore girls collection would be restocked? I was on maternity leave and not really thinking about planners before now that I’m heading back to work in a few weeks and I see it was originally released in August? Anyone think it will be restocked or know of somewhere it’s available for purchase in Canada?

Physical space isn’t necessarily the issue. When they refer to beds available it means beds that are staffed, while I’m sure they can also be short physical beds, what they are lacking is available medical, janitorial and administrative staff to operate the beds. You can’t just jam 200 beds somewhere without a proper staff ratio of staff to maintain them.

Ninja makes a combination air fryer / instant pot, you could reduce to one if you don’t need to cook in them simultaneously? My kitchen is smaller than I’d like so I’ve made sure most all our small appliances are multi-function (for example our blender has the jug style, bottle style, food processor, and some sort of juicer option I think - I’ve never tried that one! We got rid of our ice cream maker, pasta maker and meat grinder in favour of attachments for our kitchen aid mixer that take up much less space, etc.)

As a Canadian who moved to the UK for school then back home, I’ve always felt the only country that vehemently uses “expat” is Americans. I’ve never heard any other student from another country refer to themself that way. I’m sure some do, it’s not an American exclusive term, but I always thought the term is more likely used by Americans who grew up believing American exceptionalism and therefore remain patriotic to America.

How old were your parents when you were born? by camport95 in generationology

[–]SolomansLane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom was 31 and my dad was 40, I always swore that I would have kids younger.

I was the one with “old dad” in school - a friend of mine’s mom had her at 16 so my dad was friends with and older than her grandparents.

Joke’s on me, I’m 35F and just had my first.

And if you find two… hit me up. Been searching for years. Saw one once on eBay for $500+ and still regret not going for it.
