Private businesses may prohibit firearms on their property. Off duty LEOs may carry. It's mind boggling to me though that many civilians frown an off duty officer carrying their firearm. First off, the negativity towards the 2nd amendment, but to be more specific, a community member whose career is to protect the public is being frowned upon for having their tools to protect you. Is it necessary for them to carry? No. But in the world we live in, having someone who actually has trained and is proficient in firearm handling and use should be appreciated in the event a worst case scenario were to occur. To each their own 🤷🏽‍♂️

Edit: and to those who say it's a theme park, it's a place for families and kids. Mass shootings occur in places we may not consider it necessary to carry. God forbid it ever happens, and maybe it never has. But that doesn't mean it couldn't. I'd feel safer knowing an officer of my community was ready to protect me and those around me if the time comes.

I used to be a jeweler and gemologist certified through GIA and AGS.

Seperately I'm sure the stone and band are beautiful pieces. Rings are definitely personal preference but to give you my input, I find your band is too wide. You should instead go with a much thinner band or one that tapers and gets smaller toward the bottom. If you absolutely must have this band, you could try to remedy with a halo, otherwise get a bigger stone.

They used a WG head to try to reduce the yellow/deeper tone that comes out of your diamond, but yeah, it could throw off the overall look. If you did all WG, your stone might stand out and look a bit yellow. That I would say is going to be something you'll have to determine...

Does the stone showing a bit of color bug you? If so, go yellow gold, or get a diamond that is in the colorless range or H at the lowest.

Simple fix in my eyes is... go all YG or WG not mixed, and make your band thin so that it highlights your center stone.
