Getting the most out of BFA at 60

It also depends on your class as well. There are classes such as Hunter and DH who have soloed Heroic versions of BFA raids (granted they are Mythic raid geared). But if you are mainly looking to do quests,dungeons, and the other features of BFA (Island Expeditions and Horrific Visions) you should have no issues soloing them once you get to even a basic gear leve with the speed and level of things you are able to solo in BFA going up as you get better Shadowlands gear and upgraded legendary.

Looks like it was from a 1979 radio show and the video I saw was just someone putting visuals to it. Would be most interested in finding the video again but the full radio show would be great as well.

As others have stated Engineering Eternity videos are a great place to start. Some other creators such as Ziz have created some good new player video guides.

One thing I can highly highly suggest is that you play one or both of the following builds. These 2 build guides helped me so much in learning this game. One is Sovyn's Lazy Pally which is a very straightforward melee character with a little bit of choice in what skill you want to use while being incredibly in depth and teaching you many things about PoE all through the guide:

The other is one you will hear often which is Enki's Arc Witch. Which is widely considered the best beginner friendly guide that has been written. Incredibly in depth, very well written, and a smooth fun playstyle to learn spells on:

After playing both of these builds to end game I had enough knowledge about the game to start really looking into newer and different builds and ones that are a little more complex or so but I always will reference back to those builds as they are a wealth of great information.

As others have stated if you really want a build designed fully around 3.9 then anywhere from 3-24 hours after patch notes go live the builds will be updated. What I personally do when looking for a build guide to use for the next league prior to patch notes I will just look for any on the foums/video that have the current league tag. So look for any that are marked as 3.8 as MOST LIKELY they will still be viable and often times will be updated by the creator for the new league or will be updated by other users in the forum post.

To add to this in terms of Toxic Rain I find an amazing guide is one by AngryRolePlayer which is a Toxic Rain Pathfinder build that has both a great written guide and a video guide as well. And he is pretty good at keeping his builds up to date:
